Introduction Who is BTS? BTS is a Korean boy band group from South Korea whose genre is influenced mostly by hip hop. Thanks to their talented dancing, music, visuals, and generous personalities, they have become a famous worldwide idols. This group was the first ever to be in the Guinness World Record to have the highest number of Twitter fan accounts. All seven members write a majority of their songs. Their songs represent numerous meanings, such as their goals, dreams, anxieties, problems, and passion. BTS have made their first debut in 2013 with their first song, “No More Dream.” Their style of music is a mix of western and Korean, with collaborations with Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, and many more.

RAP MONSTER Stage Name : RM (formerly Rap Monster) Birth Name : (Kim Nam Joon) Position : Leader (Main Rapper) Birthday : (September 12, 1994) Zodiac Sign : Virgo Height : 180 cm (5’11”) Weight : 73.6 kg (162 lbs) Blood Type : A RM was born in the South Korean city of Ilsan, in the province of Gyeonggi-d. He also has a sister name Kim Geong Min. Namjoon’s parents originally wanted him to have a regular job, but he decided to go for his passion of being a singer and a rapper. Ever since he was placed in a group, he became a full-time rapper. He is in charge of the main rapper position and is the group’s leader in the group. After he had finished his training period with the group, he and his members had their first debut, “No More Dream.” This song was written with inspiration from taking school exams. He was later placed in a show called “Un-pretty Rap Star” to battle with other rappers in Korea and fought for that respectable position. After placing second, he was then called Rap Monster for being one of the fastest rappers in Korea.

Kim Seok Jin Stage Name : Jin Birth Name : Kim Seok Jin Position : Sub Vocalist, Visual Birthday : December 4, 1992 Zodiac Sign : Sagittarius Height : 178.3 cm (5’10.2″) Weight : 63 kg (139 lbs) Blood Type : O Kim Seok-Jin is the full name of the South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer who goes by the stage name of Jin. He was born in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province from, South Korea, on December 4th, 1992. His family consists of himself, his brother, and his parents. His first ambition was to work as a detective; however, he aspired to be the host of a food show later on. Eventually, he decided that he wanted to pursue acting and singing as a career which he finally settled with. As a result, he enrolled in courses to assist him with this new career. Jin finally found himself approached by a coordinator from Big Hit Entertainment while casually walking on the street. The coordinator had said that he should audition for the firm since he had a unique shape and was extremely attractive. Jin later chose to apply for a job within Big Hit Entertainment. He was later chosen and had been training with his current bandmates since. Later, he and his band released their first album, “2 Skool for Luv.” Since then, he has co-produced track singles such as “Awake,” which will be appearing on their other album, Wings. Other songs he participated in making include “Epiphany,” a solo song from BTS’ “Love Yourself” album. 2

Min Yoongi Stage Name : Suga Birth Name: Min YoonGi Position : Lead Rapper Birthday : March 9, 1993 Zodiac Sign : Pisces Height : 174 cm (5’8.5″) Weight : 59 kg (130lbs) Blood Type : O Min Yoon-gi, better known by his stage name Suga, is a member of the world-famous Korean boy band, BTS. He currently holds the title of a songwriter, rapper, dancer, and producer. Before his current life now, he had a difficult life growing up, especially at the age of 12. Growing up, Suga was influenced by the hip-hop music around him. He later then began writing around the age of 13. Later at the age of 17, while he was also working parttime in a studio, he began to experience his passion for underground rapping. Suga was then placed in a show called “Rapstar Battle” to compete with others in Korea. Suga was also placed second in the show, becoming one of the fastest, strongest, and most talented rappers in South Korea. Alongside his member RM (known as Rap Monster), he also joined Big Hit entertainment to become part of BTS. Suga now has 100 and counting songs credited to his name and has received numerous honors for his great work for the music industry. .

Jung Hung Seok Stage Name : J-Hope Birth Name: Kim Seok Jin Position : Sub Vocalist, (Visual) Birthday : December 4, 1992 Zodiac Sign : Sagittarius Height : 178.3 cm (5’10.2″) Weight : 63 kg (139 lbs) Blood Type : O Jung Ho-Seok, better known as J-Hope, was born in Gwangju, Korea, on February 18, 1994. He is currently 26 years old and residing in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to his life with BTS, he lived with his family in Hannamdong, Seoul, South Korea. His role in the group is a choreographer, lead dancer, singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer. He is known for being a hard-working dancer and choreographer when it comes to BTS’ choreo Before BTS, J -hope was just a street dancer, and people didn’t know much about him. J-hope then attended Gwanju Global High School after he took dance classes at Gwanju Music Academy. He later went to meet his group mates Jung kook, V, Jimin, RM, and Suga. J-Hope is now currently enrolled in Global Cyber University. J-hope’s dancing ability allowed him to grow and become a credible dancer and trainee. He piqued his interest in singing after meeting more trainees, which led him to a job offer from his current company.

Park Jimin Stage Name : Jimin Birth Name : Park Ji Min Position : Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist Birthday : October 13, 1995 Zodiac Sign : Libra Height : 174 cm (5’8.5″) Weight : 58.6 kg (129 lbs) Blood Type : A Another member from the hit group, BTS, includes a passionate dancer and singer named Park Jimin. He is the band’s singer, dancer, vocalist, and songwriter. He’s currently 24 years old and was born in Geusma-dong, Busan, South Korea. Jimin’s parents and his younger brother “Park Jihyun,” are what consists of his family. Park Jimin has always had a passion for dancing and singing ever since he was a child. Growing up, he studied modern dance, quickly becoming one of the top students at “Busan High School of Arts’’ when he attended. Jimin came to become on the idol path due to his teachers’ encouragement. He later auditioned for an entertainment company after noticing his own talent. Jimin later went on and passed the Big Hit Entertainment audition and enrolled in Korean Arts School, where he met V. Both became good friends and eventually became members of BTS. A part from his passion from his career, Jimin is always known as someone who is kind and loving towards everyone he comes across, quickly becoming Korea’s #1 sweetheart. Taehyung Stage Name : Taehyung Birth Name : Kim Tae Hyung Position: Lead Dancer, Sub Vocalist, Visual Birthday : December 30, 1995 Zodiac Sign : Capricorn Height : 178.8 cm (5’10.4) Weight : 64 kg (141 lbs) Blood Type : AB Kim Taehyung, often known as ‘V’ (stage name) Taehyung, was born in Daegu, South Korea. He is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, and main vocalist. He is a member of the Bang tan Boys, also known as BTS. After his debut in BTS, Taehyung quickly became one of Korea’s hottest males. V comes from a family of farmers in Daegu, South Korea. V’s parents adored him, but they couldn’t stay with him as often due to work. As a result, V was brought up by his grandma. He had always imagined himself as a farmer when he was a child. However, he had no intention of becoming a universally adored idol. V attended the Korean Arts School for his education and quickly established a passion for a career in singing. He was motivated to audition for the Big Hit Entertainment by a buddy that he knew. On that day in Daegun, Gyeong sang bok gung, South Korea; he became the sole participant selected for the following round. After being selected, he then trained with his other members, whom he met at the audition. He is now presently enrolled at Global Cyber University alongside Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, and RM, while also working hard as a singer. 10

Jungkook Stage Name : Jungkook Birth Name : Jeon Jung Kook Position : Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Sub Rapper, Center, Maknae Birthday : September 1, 1997 Zodiac Sign : Virgo Height : 178 cm (5’10”) Weight : 71 kg (156 lbs) Blood Type : A Jungkook was born in September 1997 in Busan, South Korea. Jungkook began playing the piano when he was five years old and also had a passion for music. Many fans refer to him as the Golden Makene because of his excellent skills when it comes to singing, dancing, rapping, and songwriting abilities. When he was younger, he used to spend hours on YouTube watching cover dance videos of overseas singers and K-pop groups like Big Bang. He would buy new music/albums quickly after hearing about them through Billboard whenever an artist or group published new music/albums on the iTunes Store. After being apporached by many large entertainment companies, he finally settled with Bighit after coing across the now leader, RM. He was enamored with Rap Monster’s rapping style and imagined how amazing it must be for rap fans like him to get into the industry. He then decided to audition for Big Hit entertainment and decided to stay within the company. After having a rough debut and spending many years establishing their spot in the kpop industry, they are now not only credible artists in Korea but globally as well..

Map of The Soul : Persona BTS’s first album among their new series, Map of the Soul: Persona, is their first installment. Bright pop was the album’s main focus, with some rap and R&B throwbacks thrown in for good measure. Despite the fact that the album is merely the first part of the puzzle, it stands alone as a fitting memorial to the band. On April 12th, BTS released their new EP MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA. LOVE YOURSELF “TEAR” The 3rd mini album The LOVE YOURSELF triology “depicts a series of loves that an adolescent goes through as he or she grows up and becomes an adult.” Another message is that in order to help ourselves, we must seek peace and unity. The mood for ‘HER’ depicts a happy, bright, and enthusiastic adolescent experiencing love at first sight, which is something that everyone goes experience at some point in their lives. BTS made these albums to show their appreciation for their fans’ love and support. To aid in the dissemination of inspiration and zeal throughout the multi-universe. Dynamite “Dynamite” quickly became a hit single after the release. A song that involves a disco pop track full of energy and self-assurance, quickly found its way into the homes of many people. This song has an edgy and energetic vibe to it, with deeply addictive motions that highlight each of the BTS members’ individual charms. It’s the first time BTS has released an all English track.

BE BE, BTS’s new album, ushered in a new era in 2020. BTS shares their contradictory feelings about the situation fear and concern mixed with a determination to overcome it all— as a sense of powerlessness pervades the planet. The lead track “Life Goes On” is featured on the album, and so is the No. 1 summer hit “Dynamite.” The latter expresses the sentiments of everyone imprisoned in COVID-19’s new normal: The world came to a halt, with no way out and streets bereft of footprints. Chapter 3 : Collaboration With Other Artist 1. Mic Drop (Steve Aoki) Steve Aoki remixed the song for the group’s expanded compilation ‘Love Yourself: Answer.’ The DJ played a huge part in on one of the groups other hit b-sides, Mic Drop. 2. Boy With Luv (Halsey) Halsey’s collaboration with BTS marked the beginning of one of their hit summer songs. The bubble gum pop song includes many upbeat melodies without being obnoxious. 2. Dream Glow (Charlie XCX) The song is the first single from the Korean boy band BTS’s soundtrack for their game BTS World. While the collab was unexpected, the song released was a masterpiece, which was no suprise to many fans. As two great artists come together to collab, many adored the interactions. . 3. Seoul (Honne) Apart of RM’s duties in BTS, he also had solo raps on the song “Good Things Always Come to an End” with BEKA and synth-pop duet Honne. Chapter 4: Making of BT21 The BT21 UNIVERSE was born out of the brand’s explosive growth, which was powered by fan support. The number of collaborations with cutting-edge enterprises has expanded, and more were on the way. LINE FRIENDS X BTS = BT21 BT21, a new IP co-created by BTS and LINE FRIEND, is Line FRIEND CREATORS’ debut initiative. BT21 is a collection of eight unique characters created by members, who were involved in every aspect of the project, from the initial concept to the final product. WHY BTS? BTS, the first artist to join the ‘FRIENDS CREATORS’ Project, were creators who showed large interest in creating a product for their fans. BTS is well-known and holds a lot of influential power, who were also outstanding storytellers, therefore were a great artist to collab with for this project.’

KOYA (RM)
KOYA is a brilliant, multi-talented sleeping cutie, can often times be found sleeping. The character takes a snooze with a head full of thoughts. In the intial drawing stage, RM drew pages and pages of koalas since he thought they were cute. Taehyung eventually brought up their involvement in the color purple, which is why KOYA’s nose came out to be purple.

RJ (Kim Seok Jin)
RJ enjoys cooking and preparing food, indicating that RJ is a serious gourmet. That’s how it’s done in most cases. The luxuriant fur coat and loving soul it receives puts everyone at rest. RJ is a sweet and caring individual who also happens to be a foodie who enjoys cooking and eating. Jin created this sweet figure, and he was pleased to do it since he had an interest in alpacas for a while.

Shooky (Suga)
Tiny SHOOKY enjoys playing with some practical jokes, especially with his friends. But, what shook doesn’t like is that milk, which is the one thing SHOOKY despises the most. Shooky, on the other hand, was made by Suga. Shooky is a small trickster with a badass attitude who enjoys telling jokes. Cooky is his best friend.

Mang (j-hope)
MANG is surely breaking out some of his great dancing anywhere there is music. Manger's true identity is hidden behind a mask, but her supporters are well aware of who she is. J-Hope is the creator of Mang, as seen by the character’s interest in dancing. As seen in the character’s face, the nose is in the shape of a heart to capture the love of many fans.

Chimmy(Jimin)
The cheerful puppy in yellow, according to Jimin, the inventor of Chimmy, embodies BTS' overall image. Due to people’s image of BTS, which is often to referred to as a puppy, Jimin created this character to signify puppy like energy.

Tata (Taehyung)
TATA is the heir to the throne of the Planet BT21 Supernatural abilities and a hyper-elastic physique that can stretch to a vast lengths. Prince Tata is a colossal heart-headed extraterrestrial with transformative abilities. His limbs have the ability to flex and stretch into strange lengths and shapes. V had been drawing this character for a while and wanted it to be more distinct than typical characters.

Cooky(Jungkook)
Don't be fooled by COOKY's cheerful appearance. COOKY is the one friend you can always count on. He's always full of heart and endless stamina. Cooky, a muscular Rabbit with a stern demeanor, was developed by Jungkook. Cooky should always have a chocolate chip cookie, according to Jungkook. Cooky is an avid exerciser who can turn into a massive muscle guy when enraged.

Van (Protector for BTS)
VAN is a sentient, all-knowing robot that guards the planet BT21 around the clock, 365 days a year. While not explicitly stated, people often saw Van as a representation of ARMY.
