Why Boxing?
I had many ideas for my senior project. Before, I wanted to a project about Super Smash Bros. or doing something with soccer. Once I started boxing I knew that this is something I wanted to pursue as a senior project. When I started boxing it was for something I going through in my life. My anger was very unhealthy for me, mentally. I needed an outlet to get rid of my

anger, so I chose boxing. From the moment I walked in Title Boxing, to moment I finished my first boxing class, I knew I found my outlet. Boxing completely changed me life for the better. After two years of boxing I wanted to find out why the Title members started boxing and if they had the same experince when I started boxing.

My approach
The way I approached this project is I would ask the members that I usually see at Title. I also looked through Title’s Instagram because they have some of the members stories. I wanted to chose at least 8 to 10 members and interview them. I wrote down around 40 questions to ask the members. The questions I wrote down are questions that I would ask myself if someone asked me how boxing changed my life.

Logo Development
For the logo development I asked the people I interviewed simple questions for the logo. I asked them what’s their favorite color and where they’re from. I also tried to base the logo from the interview. I went for angular logos like the professional boxers.

Layout Development
I researched different types of boxing magazines to see how they place the text and how they used the photos. So I used my photos the way these layout are used.

Box Design Process
This box took a lot of turns in terms of design. Orginally, I wanted to create a boxing ring for a box, but it wasn’t working out. I tried different box designs and finally I landed on the dimensions of a Battleship box. I chose this box because it was the perfect size for what I needed. I used the dimensions of that box and added some other things on the layout like tabs to atttach the corners of the box.
