Honeybees
The Honeybees program is designed for pre-kindergarten age children. Keeping this age group in mind, weekly themes are specifically designed for a fun, relaxing summer while still implementing academics into the framework. This program aims to support children’s social, emotional, and academic development. Children must be toilet trained to attend.

The Great Letter Search
June 12-16
We have some mystery letters on the loose and the Honeybee campers are on the case! We will focus on some letter recognition and discovering letters in our names. Some activities this week will feature searching for letters in sensory tables, reading books, and letter scavenger hunts!

In his popular children’s show “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood,” Mr. Rogers greeted children each day and asked this simple question of his viewers. The importance of this question will be the focus of this fun-filled week! There’ll be activities, books, and crafts that feature the themes of friendship and acceptance aplenty as we teach children how to be neighborly and kind.

The Big Blue Sea
June 26-30
Let’s explore under the sea! Campers will spend the week learning about the ocean and all the creatures who live under the water. One of the biggest focuses of the week is how we can take care of the ocean, including pollution solutions, cleaning up trash, and supporting ocean life. We may even have some special aquarium guests!

Stars, Moon, and Silly Tunes
July 3-7 (No program July 4)
“Twinkle, twinkle, little star” is one popular kids song, but this week we explore all the riddles and rhymes that help children learn when they are young. In addition to songs from “The Cow Jumped Over the Moon” to the “Three Little Pigs,” there are also a plethora of children’s books we’ll read that tie into this theme throughout the week. By the end of the week, your child may even be creating their own version of the timeless characters featured in these stories!

Artist Spotlight: Charley Harper
July 10-14
Shapes and patterns galore! Our Honeybees will spend time viewing and imitating the art of Charley Harper, a famous Cincinnati artist. Charley Harper’s art was inspired by nature and geometric shapes, so this week we will celebrate both! As we explore his world, we will discover how colors and lines can be found in nature and in art.

Crunching Numbers
July 17-21
Learning about numbers, in a fun way, can help kids grow in every way! This week will explore creative games that help children practice counting, number identification, and early math skills. We may even use a few edible manipulatives to make math more enjoyable — and tasty!

Bug Detectives
July 24-28
The hunt is on! Creepy critters live in the dirt, fly in the air — we can find them everywhere! Campers will put on their detective hats, grab their magnifying glasses, and start the search. Bugs are an important part of our ecosystem and we will learn all about their important contributions to our planet!

S’More Camp, Please!
July 31-Aug. 4
Summer may be coming to a close, but we are offering one more week of Honeybee fun to make summer feel like it will last forever. We will let our imaginations run wild this week while we go on a pretend camping trip and act like wilderness explorers. While on our adventure, we will sing classic camp songs, read books featuring animals in the woods, and make s’mores, of course!

Our Stingerbees summer program provides eight weeks of exciting learning opportunities. Campers expand their imaginations and knowledge through a variety of enriching, academic-based, hands-on activities. The focus of the weekly themes is having fun in a relaxed summertime atmosphere. Stingerbee campers will also take time to programs offered by local experts in art and science. Swimming takes place two days per week at nearby Losantiville important values, we will work on projects about animals and even make some fun musical instruments. Don’t worry, we will be reading other books just like “Giraffes Can’t Dance” all week long!

Full Day: $330 need to put our best foot forward. At camp this week, we will learn about those who are brave and bold enough to change the world. If they can make a difference, so can you!

Young children love learning about mighty machines that beep and soar! If robots and machines are the tools of the future, our Stingerbees will be prepared. We will spend the week learning about robots, spaceships, and the like. A focus of the week will be learning about all the jobs that go into making these mighty machines work.

Artist Spotlight: Marvelous Murals
July 10-14
This exciting week of camp will explore large scale art — the Cincinnati murals! These unique creations feature interesting shapes, famous Cincinnatians, and a variety of illustrations. Stingerbees will get to create their own art installations, journey through a pretend art museum, and display their work for other visitors to view. Throughout this camp children will also learn about the artists behind the murals we have all over our beautiful city.

We Dig Digits!
July 17-21
Let’s get creative with counting! Math during the summer doesn’t always sound fun, but this week will help children get excited about learning early foundational math skills. We will “dig” into creative problemsolving, real-world math, number recognition, and counting, of course. By the end of the week your children will be excited about numbers! Can you dig it?

Camp Classics
July 31-Aug. 4
We wrap up the summer with a week full of classic camping activities. Spending the week pretending we are under the night sky sleeping in a tent by a warm fire will jump start your child’s imagination! To make this week more exciting we will learn basic camping skills, read books about hiking adventures, and even make s’mores! The perfect way to end the summer will be to enjoy a pretend camp-out with friends.
