Until 2007, we told and shared some great stories about the employees who made RainSoft the organization it is today. We’re returning to that tradition with this issue and will do so every quarter going forward.
So take a few minutes to catch up and learn some things, and let us know if you have an idea for a story.
THREE RIVERS UNITES TWO REGIONS
An enthusiastic group of nearly 300 people attended the July 16-17 event at the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh. A Dealer-only meeting at noon was the only business item on the agenda the first day. The meeting was led by Regional Directors Dan Pfister and Alan Kniffen, hosts of the welcome reception later that evening.
The riverboat cruise on the Three Rivers was memorable because of the festive atmosphere. Downtown Pittsburgh was lively and many other boats were on the water enjoying the weather. Several groups took advantage of seeing a Pirates baseball game and visiting the nearby casino.

BREAK THROUGH SESSIONS
Aspirited
General Session opened day two with Dragan Trajkovski, motivational trainer from Tony Robbins International, and Don Miller. The morning ended with a group board-breaking activity to illustrate how to “Break Through Your Current Paradigms.”
After lunch, Ruben Silva tackled marketing issues; Alan Kniffen, Ryan Kraft and Jim Neidert conducted an in-depth Q & A Sales session; and Scott Harmon wrapped things up exploring Service and Installation items before the evening’s awards banquet.

After lunch, Ruben Silva moderated an outstanding Marketing panel that included Ashlay Phillas, Branca Crow, Charles Holmes and Matt Palmer discussing preparation, work ethic, effective contact techniques and more.

Regional Director Mark Gagnon and Jeff Pendleton led the Outside Sales session, “Closing with the Experts.” Panelists Bob Hogans, Mike Murray and Terrence Dupree did an exceptional job answering audience questions while discussing preparation, motivation and kitchen table skills. Scott Harmon handled the Service and Installation side, providing insights on the latest products and product updates.

Anenthusiastic, overflow crowd attended the Aug. 6-7 event held at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Henderson, Nevada. Located just minutes from the famous Las Vegas Strip, this property will serve as the home for the 2018 International Convention next July. Guests were treated to a magnificent view of the property at the opening welcome reception.
Dragan Trajkovski and Regional Director Don Miller got things off to a roaring start at the general session on August 7. As lead corporate sales trainer for Tony Robbins International, Dragan did his thing to motivate the crowd.
Don followed with an equally rousing session, “Breaking Through Your Current Paradigms”, that included personal reflections over the course of his career.
A trio of afternoon sessions followed. Ruben Silva discussed marketing matters and Scott Harmon delivered Service and Installation news. Alan Kniffen and Keith Locati moderated an Outside Sales discussion that covered everything from preparation and motivation and kitchen table skills. Also answering questions from the crowd were panel members Annette Hayes, Roger Lombardo, Raymond Pauchek, Socorro Real, Leonard Ulibarri and Anthony Williams.
