OUR FAMILY HOLIDAYS Family holidays are the basis for so many happy childhood memories. Learning to swim, splashing in the waves, quality family time, long balmy evenings playing, tasting local foods for the first time‌ the list goes on. NEW EXPLORERS CLUB AT SHANTI MAURICE, MAURITIUS We are incredibly excited about our new Explorers club at the luxury family hideaway of Shanti Maurice in Mauritius, opening in time for half term in February 2019. Children booked into our Explorers club will experience an exceptional range of creative and sporting activities immersing them in Mauritian culture whilst making new friends. Older children will head off on island excursions to La Vanille Nature Park and learn to play golf and have a go at a variety of watersports. A direct overnight flight from the UK makes it an easy long haul option and with the bonus of minimal jet lag with only 3 hours time difference from the UK.

HALF DAYS AT EXPLORERS We have made our childcare more flexible to ensure that you get the right balance of childcare and time together to fit with your holiday plans. SCOTT DUNN EXPLORERS Whilst parents take a well-earned rest, our Explorers clubs are there to entertain and inspire your children, ensuring they come back at the end of each day with fun memories and new friends.
Our Explorers kids clubs are located across the Mediterranean and the Alps, in the Maldives and Mauritius. All are run by teams of experienced childcare professionals, and offer exciting daily on and off-site activity programmes tailored to children from 4 months to 11 years. Divided into 4 age-appropriate groups, our clubs are stimulating environments where your children will learn new skills and explore the local culture and traditions. All of our clubs are fully equipped with toys and games, outdoor play areas and sleep rooms. We also provide lunch, high tea, snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

AGE GROUPS Our clubs are split into four groups so we can ensure children have age appropriate activities and make friends their own age.
GLOBETROTTERS (4 MONTHS - 2 YEARS) We know that when it comes to our youngest of guests, good communication with parents is key. Our experienced childcare team will take the time to get to know your child’s daily routine and will follow it as closely as possible to help your little one feel settled. Our child and nanny ratio of two children to every nanny for under two years is one of the best in the industry. We tailor the daily activities to the climate and our specially designed sleep rooms are perfect for nap time. All our meals and purÊes are all freshly prepared onsite, using local produce where possible.

ADVENTURERS (3 - 4 YEARS) Every day is about discovering new things and exploring their surroundings for our Adventurers, with our excellent ratio of four children to every nanny. A typical morning in Adventurers includes playing tennis or football or fun games on the beach. Your children will enjoy a healthy, freshly made lunch every day followed by a rest to recharge their batteries before a fun packed afternoon developing their talents such as dressing up games and shell painting.
VOYAGERS (5 - 7 YEARS) As well as improving their skills in familiar sports like golf, tennis and football, Voyagers can get to try new ones like archery and body boarding. There are plenty of waterbased activities at the beach and the pool to keep the water-lovers happy. They’ll also get the chance to feel more independent with our supervised off-site excursions such as to the local water park. To help explore their creative sides and escape the heat in the afternoon, they can have a go at t-shirt painting, junior chef sessions or mod rocking!
PIONEERS (8 - 11 YEARS) We know that it is all about providing the right balance of independence and fun for older children. With our action packed activity programme of sporting and creative pursuits, they will be spoilt for choice. The Pioneers have the opportunity to try new sports like paddleboarding and more energy fuelled activities including body boarding and rock climbing, as well as encouraging their creative flair with activities like spray painting, movie making and Bake Off challenges. We also organise a number of off-site trips including surfing and adrenaline parks (resort dependent).

OUR NANNIES For some families, having a private nanny is the extra pair of hands which really makes the holiday enjoyable for all and gives busy parents that precious downtime they really need, whilst for others having total family time is key which is why our nannies are optional. MALLORCA Our villas are located in the North of Mallorca, either near the lovely old town of Pollença surrounded by dramatic mountains or in Arta, a beautiful and untouched area, near the coastal village of Sant Colonia de Sant Pere.
BEST BEACHES FOR FAMILIES Pollença area: There are some lovely beaches surrounding the bay of Pollença, however our team can guide you to some of our hidden favourites including: •
Playa de Sant Pere: A hidden local spot, on the Andalucia peninsula. Much quieter than the tourist beaches of Alcúdia, family-friendly small bay with a handy beach bar for snacks.

Playa de Sant Joan: A small, sandy beach off the beaten tourist track.
•
Cala Molins at Cala San Vincente: Sits north of Pollença. A lovely small beach with azure crystal-clear waters, quaint straw umbrellas and loungers available.
Arta area: There are many hidden calas a short drive from our villas situated in the Arta area of North-Eastern Mallorca:

Son Serra: A hidden gem off the beaten track near Son Serra de Marina. A beautiful large sandy beach, pristine clear waters, and a vast dune backdrop. With a handful of relaxed beach tavernas nearby makes this a perfect spot for a family day out.

Cala Mesquida: This long sandy beach is set among pine trees and sand dunes, gently sloping into the sea making it perfect for little ones to paddle. Loungers and umbrellas are available to hire, along with paddleboards and kayaks.

Each day in club is filled with fun activities, often with a theme. We venture outside for some exploring in the snow or sledging and older ones might go ice skating for example.
