All are welcome to join us for ballroom dance practice on Wednesdays, 4-6 PM, AFC 1 & 2. Dancers help one another with dance steps. Several couples make it an evening by following up with some food and beverage at The Views Restaurant.

Our first set of dance classes will be September 14, 21 and 28. We will learn new patterns in the waltz and the swing. Cost is $45/cpl. We require a minimum of four couples to hold the class. Reserve your spot by emailing scovstarlightdance@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our first dance on Saturday, October 15, 6-8:30 PM, Catalina Vista. Ticket information can be found on our website.

Folk Dance Pres. Siva Raven 505-469-7505 sivaraven@gmail.com Fri., 10-11:30 AM, AFC/Studios 1 & 2 www.scovFD.club

Folk dancing is a wonderful way to exercise both your body and mind while socializing in the company of a warm and welcoming group. We encourage everyone who is fully vaccinated and boosted to join us and tour the world in music and dance. We review each dance prior to dancing, keeping in mind that the only mistake you can make is to not have fun. No experience and no partner required. Bonus: no meetings, no minutes, no dues; just dance, dance, dance. There is even a club website which lists each week’s dances, along with a video link to each dance, for those who like to watch or review dances at home.

Please give it a try. Come and see. Check out the website or call Raven.

Spurge Reminder

Please remove spurge from your yards. Spurge is a creeping, lowgrowing weed that is often found in the cracks of driveways and the gaps between the sidewalk and street. It also grows abundantly in river rock. Line - Sunliners Pres.
