December is a time when friends and families come together to celebrate the warmth, joy, magic and miracles of the holiday season. It is a time to recall memories and make new ones. Let us take this time to give from our heart, whether it be in the form of our actions or our words. Let us keep in mind those who may be less fortunate and extend our kindness to them.
You are most appreciated for your patronage and support and all you do to encourage and inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves. We feel truly blessed to be able to serve you. On behalf of The Views staff and myself, we wish you joy, peace and love this holiday season. May all your wishes and desires come true.

Joan Kelley hanging a display
Have you noticed the incredible artwork and display cases created by our very talented SCOV residents? Walking the halls and rooms of the Activity Center (pre-construction), Catalina Vista and Desert Oasis, you can see the beautiful, professional and unique paintings, pencil drawings and photographs, all of which add brightness to our lives. Stop in the Gift Shop to see the wide variety of crafts; you’ll want to come back often.
One of the functions of the Art League is gearing up for the opening of the newly remodeled Activity Center and the need for new hardware to hang residents’ art. This is where your Foundation stepped in to help with a grant to fund the purchase of soon-to-be-needed hardware.
If your club has a financial need, go to the Foundation website www.foundationscov.org for directions on how to apply for a grant.
