Vistoso Helpful Hands is an all-volunteer organization, providing year-round short-term (three weeks or 12 visits) assistance to SCOV residents. We do light handyman chores, run errands, light yard work/ housekeeping, paperwork organization, transportation and meal delivery from The Views Restaurant. Our dispatcher also has names/numbers for longer-term referrals for agencies and paid services like in-home caregivers/personal services, transportation options, house cleaning, home downsizing/moving, mobile meal delivery, and animal/house sitting.

Do you remember your first bike? Wheels for Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing rehabbed bicycles to children and families in need in the Tucson area. To date, we have donated 3,000 bikes to local nonprofits who distribute the bikes to their clients. Some of our partner organizations include Refugee Focus, Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, Children’s Advocacy Center, Casa de los Niños, Ronald McDonald House and Youth On Their Own. Extended Community Catalina State Park Music in the Mountains has returned to Catalina State Park on the first Saturday of the month. • Saturday, August 7, 6 PM: Lazaret will be performing their psychedelic setlist. Lazaret is a new take on classic psychedelic rock and blues music with a bit of experimentation thrown into the mix. • Saturday, September 4, 6 PM: T Town Ramblers with a mix of country, blues and rock covers. All-day admission to the park is $7 per vehicle and the concert is included with park admission.
