Film Studies is a fantastic course that combines thinking about films with enjoying them.

Join us to explore the creative possibilities of printmaking. We’ll teach you printmaking techniques such as screen printing, mono printing, lino printing, soft-ground etching, and drypoint etching and show you how to use photographic or hand-drawn images to create a beautiful piece of work.

This course is designed to help you become visually literate by giving you the skills in composition, lighting, focus and exposure, and encourages you to make expressive, meaningful photographs.

Join us for this enjoyable introduction to screen printing. You will learn how to draw and cut paper stencils and mix and experiment with different coloured inks. You will also explore screen printing onto different materials.

TEXTILES Altering Patterns and Garments (8109/010 or 020)

Etching (13090-02 or 03) Over this six-week course, you will explore a range of etching processes, including dry-point and soft and hard ground etching. You will learn a variety of ‘biting’ and ‘inking-up’ techniques and a number of other print possibilities to enrich your work. You will be supported in exploring and extending your range, whatever your level of experience.
