Dr. A.C. Ross is an author, professor emeritus and retired Army

paratrooper who grew up in the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservations. Dr. Ross wrote Mitakuye Oyasin: We Are All Related (1989). A seminal text in university psychology, counseling and guidance, comparative religions and Native American studies classes, Mitakuye Oyasin won the “Top 50” Recognition at the 1992 Frankfort International Bookfair and has been translated into French and German. Dr. Ross discusses his family and work.

Bill Walsh – Deadwood Businessman

Originally from Mitchell, Bill Walsh is a former Catholic priest who left the priesthood for a storied career in Deadwood tourism. Walsh was a longtime owner of the Franklin Hotel who helped legalize gambling in Deadwood. Walsh discusses his life and times in service as a priest and business booster.

Christine Albert and Chris Gage — Thursday, August 1, 11am (10 MT) Originally from Pierre, Gage toured with Roy Clark, played in the Hee Haw band, and is a founding member of The Red Willow Band. He and his wife Christine Albert now live in Austin, Texas, where they run MoonHouse Studio and where Gage plays with Jerry Jeff Walker. 20

Cade Thompson — Friday, August 9, 11am (10am MT) Cade Thompson is a Sioux Falls-based contemporary Christian pop musician. Thompson’s first single was “Faithful and True,” which he wrote and recorded when he was fourteen years old.
