With 2020 pandemic restrictions in place, three-time Choir guest artist and Academy Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, returned to the Conference Center — without an audience — to film the narration for 20 Years with the Tabernacle Choir, a twenty-year retrospective of the much-heralded Choir Christmas concerts.
The holidays are a busy time for the midwives, and Christmas 1966 promises to be a memorable one. On this year’s Call the Midwife Holiday Special, the Nonnatus House team are faced with their busiest Christmas Day ever as the Maternity Home is filled with expectant moms and challenging cases. Luckily Mother Mildred is on-hand to support the team.

Generations of audiences have enjoyed this perennial Christmas favorite, a charming tale of holiday adventure that follows a little girl’s journey through a fantasy world of fairies, princes, toy soldiers, and an army of mice. The new Royal Ballet production of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King features an acclaimed cast, including Ivan Putrov as the Nutcracker and Alina Cojocaru as Clara.
