Seaford Young Mayor’s Quiz Night Success

On Friday 17th January the Seaford Young Mayor James Jenkins, assisted by the Deputy Young Mayor Chanel Pritchard, hosted a General Knowledge Quiz at The View at Seaford Head. The team entry money, proceeds from the raffle and auction of a day trip to Bruges for two people kindly donated by Premier Travel, raised a fantastic £700!

All the proceeds are going towards funding for Water Refill Stations for Seaford to encourage and support the community in using refillable bottles, and reduce singleuse plastic.
Seaford Young Mayor James Jenkins said, ‘What an excellent evening it was! Thank you to everyone who contributed towards the fundraising at the quiz night. Everyone was happy and the time went so fast! With the amazing turnout, raffle and auction, we were able
to raise £700 which is incredible. I hope that my second quiz night on 13th March will do just as well!’
A special thanks to all the local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes. The Young Mayor’s next General Knowledge Quiz Night to raise further funds towards the Water Refill Stations will take place on Friday 13th March at The View at Seaford Head, Southdown Road, Seaford.
