Dear Members,
As we embrace the vibrant energy of spring here at Saint Simons and transition into what promises to be an exciting golf season, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering support of The Club at Sea Palms, Sago, and Sea Palms Resort.
Undoubtedly, there are challenges that impact all facets of Sea Palms Nevertheless, I am pleased to inform you that ownership is diligently addressing these matters to propel The Club and resort to unprecedented heights. While we eagerly await updates and timelines, I sincerely appreciate your patience and continued patronage. Rest assured, we will promptly communicate any developments and new information as they become available.
I would like to express a special appreciation to Justin Collett and the entire agronomy team for maintaining the exceptional course conditions that we are privileged to enjoy daily The course demonstrated its mettle against formidable collegiate talent during the Peoples Championship and Johnnie-O Invitational Individual in March. With the arrival of spring, the course is only poised to enhance its allure further. We have an array of exciting events lined up, including the Club Championship, Member-Guest, Twilight Blitzes, and Family Fun Day. For details and inquiries, please register on Golf Genius or contact the golf shop.
We trust that you will relish the enhanced experience offered by our new EZGO cart fleet and Pace GPS system
The recent addition of greens maps in March is a notable enhancement that will undoubtedly enhance your enjoyment and performance. Simply observe the screen as you approach each green to access the same greens maps utilized by tour professionals. Furthermore, as we enter the growing season, slight adjustments to some entry and exit points on the geo-fencing will be made to promote turf growth and safeguard sensitive areas. Rest assured, we will provide auditory alerts on days when these temporary adjustments are made. Your cooperation and assistance in maintaining our golf course at its zenith are greatly appreciated
I am delighted to witness The Club garnering recognition for its competitive players across all levels of Membership, from PGA Tour regulars and caddies to accomplished competitors on the state and local circuits. In March, three teams comprising Club members showcased their prowess at the GSGA Four-Ball Tournament at Sanctuary Golf Club; with commendable performances and notable finishes, Ty and Connor Rinoski battled to the end to claim second place overall Ron and Austin York finished T-1 in the Fourth Flight, and Andrew Elam and Chris Ryan dug in for T-2 in the Fifth Flight. Your dedication and hard work are indeed paying dividends, and it is truly inspiring to witness your achievements on the course.
As we navigate through the bustling months ahead, please ensure to mark your calendars for upcoming events.
Should you require alternative golf options during any closure, the Golf Shop stands ready to assist Please remember that our reciprocal arrangements are pro to pro, and the Golf Shop staff must call for you to receive the reciprocal rate.
Thank you once again for your continued support and enthusiasm. I look forward to seeing you at the Miracle and out on the course, creating memorable moments together.

Welcome to Spring Golf at The Club at Sea Palms!
As the vibrant colors of spring begin to bloom across coastal Georgia, we at The Club at Sea Palms eagerly welcome golf enthusiasts to our stunning courses. As the Head Golf Professional, I am thrilled to guide you through the delights of springtime golf in our coastal paradise.
Spring brings a renewed sense of life to our course, with lush green fairways framed by blossoming azaleas and majestic oak trees. The coastal breeze adds an invigorating challenge to your game while providing a refreshing escape from the inland heat. Make sure to bring your sunscreen and bug spray! It always helps my game when I get in tune with the golf course and nature. It can help you forget about things and escape for a bit.
With the arrival of spring, our course is meticulously groomed to offer impeccable playing conditions. The warmer temperatures and ample sunshine provide the ideal backdrop for a memorable round of golf. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, you'll find our course both enjoyable and rewarding The agronomy team is constantly working to improve and enhance the experience on the golf course. We are lucky to have such a great team working on the grounds!
Springtime at The Club at Sea Palms is not just about golf—it's about community and camaraderie. We invite you to participate in our exciting lineup of events and tournaments designed to bring golfers together in friendly competition. From Twilight Blitzes, Club Championships, Member Guests, and Family Fun to other various outings, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
At The Club we are here to help you elevate your game to new heights. Whether you're looking to improve your swing, refine your putting technique, or simply need some guidance on course strategy, we offer personalized instruction tailored to your individual needs. Let's work together to make this your best season yet on the course.
After your round of golf, treat yourself to the culinary delights available at Sago. Sago offers a delectable array of coastal cuisine, from fresh seafood to southern classics, all served with a side of warm hospitality. Sit back, relax, and relive your best shots over a delicious meal with friends and fellow golfers.
Sincerely,
Justin Sigmon Head Golf Professional justin sigmon@seapalms comAs the warmth of spring approaches, the Sea Palms Agronomy team is gearing up for an exciting season ahead. Our focus remains on enhancing the playing conditions of our golf course to ensure an enjoyable experience for all members and guests.
Transitioning Turf: With the transition from overseeded rye to bermudagrass underway, our team is working diligently to facilitate a smooth recovery from winter injury. Increased fertilization, aerification, and targeted tree removals are part of our strategy to revitalize damaged areas.
Priorities for Spring and Summer: Our primary goal is to boost the density and overall health of the turf across the course. This effort will contribute to improved greens speeds and playability for all golfers.
Repair ball marks promptly
Fill divots on fairways and tees
Maintain bunkers by raking after use
Minimize cart traffic impact by scattering routes
Avoid driving carts through high shade areas and weak turf
Join us in preserving the quality of our course by actively participating in its maintenance Every small effort contributes to creating an exceptional golfing experience for our community.
Wishing you all a fantastic season on the course!

The Sales Department is thrilled to share some exciting updates with you. We've been hard at work connecting with prospective and repeat clients, showcasing the property, and curating unforgettable experiences and events at the resort. We are off to a positive start this year and look forward to seeing all the successes and opportunities that the remainder of 2024 will bring.
We are delighted to announce that we have filled the role of our new position, Convention Services Coordinator Please join me in welcoming the sixth member of the Sales and Marketing Team, Morgan Callender! Morgan’s role at Sea Palms entails working alongside the Sales and Banquet team, as well as Food and Beverage, to coordinate Sales and Membership events, constructing and communicating Banquet Event Orders, and ultimately will play a vital role to the function and success of the resort. This position alleviates pressure off of our Sales Managers and allows them more time to allocate toward bringing in new clientele.
We are extremely excited about our newest event space, Square 67. Our first event at the Square took place this March and was an ultimate success, despite the weather conditions. Power sourcing has now been installed, which is acclimated to accommodate our vendors appropriately. We look forward to hosting many amazing events at this location in the upcoming year(s)
As we look forward to growing as a resort and club, we are always looking for creative ways to bring in new business. With our additional event spaces, we can accommodate multiple events at once and we are the only venue on the island that can offer all the following features:
On-site Bridal Suite and Hospitality Suite (Magnolia and Dogwood)
On-site Hotel Accommodations
On-site 18-Hole Golf Course
On-site Pool
On-site Restaurant & Bar
On-site Catering Services
Two Large Outdoor Venues, and additional Outdoor Venues
Indoor Venues
Shuttle Service
Access to the Beach Club at St. Simons
Two addition rooms will be added to our hotel inventory in the next few weeks, which consists of one King room and one Double Queen room Our current inventory consists of 121 hotel rooms including: 13 Standard Double Queen Rooms, 43 Studio Double Queen Rooms, 14 Standard King Rooms, 12 Double Queen Balcony Rooms, 27 King Balcony Rooms, three Standard One Bedroom King Suites, seven Premium One Bedroom King Suites, including the “Presidential Suite” in the Blue Heron building, our Hospitality Suite known as the “Dogwood Suite,” and our most recent addition, the Bridal Suite known as the “Magnolia Suite.”
We have just completed a new installation of flooring in the Magnolia Bridal Suite, along with other minor renovations. These enhancements will elevate the overall experience for our Brides and their guests to ensure that their special day is as perfect as possible.
