OUR READERS Selection magazine speciďŹ cally targets ABC1 demographic readers within each of our geographical areas. More than 70% of our readers are female between the ages of 30-55, with young or teenage families. Most are considered to enjoy a higher than average household income, with home ownership and disposable income both being high within this sector. Our readers are discerning; they know what they want, and expect to receive a great service. They are comfortable in making decisions for themselves, as well as being actively involved in making decisions for their family.
THE MAGAZINE We produce Selection magazine to a high standard, using quality paper stock and high-level print and production processes - to ensure that the product arriving in our readers’ hands represents your business in the quality way you would expect and deserve. Using either Royal Mail delivery or our own local delivery teams (please check for delivery details in your area), we ensure our product gets to the right people - while our unique format and relevant content ensures that it stays there. Over 80% of surveyed readers said that they read our editorial content, ensuring great exposure for our advertisers.
SOCIAL MEDIA Our readers are tech ‘savvy’, and enjoy reading and sharing information in a variety of ways. To ensure we reach our target reader at a time, and in a way, that suits them best, we’ve harnessed social media - allowing us to target very specific user groups for our advertisers, and deliver highly measurable results. We consider social media promotion to be such an important part of what we do that we include it for our advertisers as standard - whether that’s pushing advertiser-specific messaging, or sharing content alongside which our advertisers appear. We call it 360-degree advertising.
MEASURING RESULTS With a long-standing background in technology, we’ve built our own robust systems to allow us to measure as much of what we do as possible. We can use QR codes, bespoke web addresses, custom telephone numbers, response forms and purpose-built web analytics to track exactly what’s happening, allowing you the advertiser to make informed decisions. Extended content allows us to expand a customer’s journey from the printed magazine, to an online environment using a computer, phone or tablet. This allows you to use additional information such as video, or custom web pages with extra information and response forms that perhaps your printed advert can’t accommodate.
