45 67 89 William Caslon I is an English typefounder who, between 1720 and 1726, designed the typeface that bears his name. He based his type on Dutch models. Due to its versatile typeface with a friendly, homey quality it is great for body text and is used in many magazines, journals and books. The type is not particularly elegant but has altogether a pleasant aspect. It is characterized by short ascenders and descenders, bracketed
serifs, moderately-high contrast, robust texture, and moderate modulation of stroke. Caslon is cited as the first original typeface of English origin. The type was highly succesful that Benjamin Franklin was a fan, and the first printing of the American Declaration of Independence was set in Caslon. Many decades after its conception Caslon remains one of the most popular typefaces of all time.

Research suggests that music can benefit our physical and mental health in numerous ways.
Strengthens Memory Research has shown that the repetitive elements of rhythm a nd melody help our brains form that enhance memory. Music activates many parts of the brain, including the hippocampus, which processes memories. In a study of stroke survivors, listening to music helped them experience more verbal memory, less confusion, and better focused attention.
Lowers Stress and Improves Health Research has shown that blood flows more easily when music is played. It can also reduce heart rate, lower blood pressure, decrease cortisol (stress hormone) levels and increase serotonin and endorphin levels in the blood.

Makes You Happier Listening to music increases the brain’s production of the hormone dopamine (a mood-enhancing chemical). The increase of dopamine helps relieve feelings of anxiety and depression.
Improves Creativity and Connectivity Studies found that upbeat and happy tunes can encourage creative, and innovative thinking. Other research used MRIs to see how participants’ brains reacted to music they especially liked. Those experiments saw that peoples’ brains lit up more in response to their favorite tracks. Scientists discovered that listening to your favorite music makes a huge difference in how your brain responds.
Improves Sleep A study showed that listening to classical or relaxing music within an hour of going to bed significantly improves sleep. The music triggers changes to the body that in many ways mimic a sleep state. A slower heart rate, slower breathing, and lower blood pressure are all physiological changes that make possible the process of falling asleep and staying asleep.
Reduces Pain Listening to music triggers the release of opioids in the brain, the body’s natural pain relievers. Music can also reduce the perceived intensity of pain, especially in geriatric care, intensive care, or palliative medicine (an area of healthcare that focuses on preventing and relieving the suffering of patients).
