Guiding design principles 1. Create opportunities where Buckeye residents can contribute to the growth of the local economy. 2. Improve the quality of life in Buckeye through increased lighting, traffic calming measures, neighborhood beautification, and increased opportunity/access to jobs. 3. Establish a united neighborhood identity they manifests in the landscape. 4. Become the leading neighborhood in Cleveland for anti-gentrification strategies/policies. 5. Keep housing options in Buckeye affordable. 6. Create neighborhood stability through reactivation of vacant buildings/land, and increased accountability among property owners. 7. Establish design standards for commercial corridors and neighborhood streets that protects the quality of the community.
