SUMMER CAMP SESSIONS
Sew Creative Kids will be in session for 8 weeks this summer starting June 24 - August 16, 2019. Each session is two weeks from 9am-3pm. Before care (8am-9am) is included and aftercare from 3-6pm is available for $65 per week. The following sessions are appropriate for children ages 5-14 years old.
SESSION ONE: JUNE 24-JULY 5, 2019 CRAFTING WITH FABRIC CAMP Let’s pull out all the fabric and create! Campers will use fabric to make projects such as stuffed animals, tote bags, weaving and more.

Campers will learn the basics of sewing with and without a sewing machine while completing projects that they will be proud to say that they made. All skill levels welcome! SESSION TWO: JULY 8-19, 2019 WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY CAMP (in Partnership with STEMOVATE) This session explores where design and technology intersect. Learn the basics of sewing while jumping into the world of wearable technology. Campers will integrate electronics into their designs that they will make themselves. Not only will participants learn how to program and work with electronic components, but they will also learn the basics of sewing. July 8 - 19, 2019

SESSION THREE: JULY 22-AUGUST 2, 2019 SEWING CAMP FASHION MATH CAMP From fractions to proportions to circumference and multiplication, campers will learn how to design and sew using math concepts. Each day will focus on one math concept that will be used throughout the remainder of the camp to create two unique designs. July 22 - August 2, 2019

FRENCH IMMERSION THROUGH THE ARTS This full immersion French camp is a great way to introduce or further language practice. Led by a native French instructor, campers will craft, sew, learn French songs and play games while building their French vocabulary. July 22 - August 2, 2019

SESSION FOUR: AUGUST 5-16, 2019 REDUCE, REUSE, REPURPOSE It’s never too early to inspire kids to start thinking about sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint. In this session, campers will transform t-shirts, jeans and other garments into fashionable new creations! Watch them take pride and develop an appreciation for their resources as they give new life to things that otherwise are destined for the landfill. August 5 - 16, 2019

FASHION DESIGNER CAMP It’s time to design and create! Campers will learn the basics of fashion design and illustration while designing and sewing their very own garment. August 5 - 16, 2019

SUMMER SEWING CLASSES Sew Creative Kids is a fun skill-based sewing program for children ages 8 - 14 years old. The children will learn basic sewing skills while making a beach bag and cover up. Supply list is available on website. Summer Session: July 14 - August 11, 2019, Sundays from 12:30pm-2:30pm Class Fee: $135
