Mission Statement
Sew Cris-Croche is an online fashion boutique that provides casual, cocktail, and special occasion dresses with matching bras for women and teens aged 16-50. Along with our products, we provide sewing services for customers that provide a pattern. We strive to provide clothing and accessories with a personal flair, at an affordable price, to bring joy to deserving women and teens. Our long term goal is to offer a higher end line of dresses and to franchise a line of dance costumes. Eventually, we hope to open a small retail storefront. We aim for success in accomplishing these goals by employing a team of staff that show professionalism and possess artistic skills, incorporating intermediate to advanced level sewing/crochet skills. With passion and drive, we utilize these skills to craft each item and add a personal flair not usually found in main-stream stores.
Clientele
Though Sew Cris-Croche does not have any current clientele, we do have a small list of Newsletter subscribers who are prospective clients. The majority of these prospective clients are relatives. To convert these subscribers into clients we will work on improving relationships through better and more frequent communication. We aim to grow our clientele through social media outreach.

Financial Performance
Although Sew Cris-Croche currently does not have any sales, the company does not have any debts or liabilities. We are focusing on creating dresses that are more appealing and made from inexpensive materials in order to boost sales and increase profitability. We aim to incorporate the following new products into the Products & Services listed above: 1 cocktail dress, 1 business dress, and 1 special Occasion Dress.
Competitive Advantage
Sew Cris-Croche will stand out because the majority of department stores sell dresses separate from bras, and the customized hand crafted crochet detail that we provide adds a personal flair.
Goals & Objectives
With a passion to open a strong profitable company, we have outlined the following goals and objectives to strategically plan and take action to achieve success. Goal #1 Identify and maintain a lasting client base of 10-20 clients.
Strategy: We plan to attend various expos, conferences, and events which will allow for the opportunity to network and build relationships with our market base and other small businesses. Specifically, we have already attended a Women’s Leadership Conference and Quinceanera Expo. We plan to attend a SCORE mixer, the Black Business Expo, and many other events. We hope to participate in these events as a sponsor or vendor if possible. Our networking will be focused on our market base as well as strategically partnering with other small businesses that cater to our market base. We will establish a database of leads and conduct direct mail marketing to encourage subscription to our Newsletter. Clients subscribed to our newsletter will receive monthly communication on our projects, events, sales, newest arrivals, sale dates, and receive special discounts and coupons. Through this and other communication, we aim to maintain lasting client relations.

Goal #2 Establish a defined, complete operating process from product creation to packaging and shipping.
Strategy: I.
Design Process A. The design process for each product will begin with a design illustration. We currently have a template with which to start. Fabric and colors will be taken into consideration during this part of the process. B. A pattern will be developed by hand and muslin created. Using the muslin, the muslin and pattern will be refined.
C. Using the pattern, the new dress will be sewed with careful attention to detail.

D. Labels and care instructions will be attached to the garment. We aim to complete this part of the process within 1-2 weeks.
Packaging Process
A. The garment will then be carefully packaged for shipping.

A. If products are returned, we guarantee a 7 day turnaround time for store credit or product replacement and communication with the customer.
Goal #3 Begin selling products by the end of the year.
Strategy: Before selling, we will use our design process to create a line/collection of apparel to establish an inventory by November 24th as follows: Casual Dresses: 2 items Cocktail Dresses: 2 items Business Dresses: 2 items Special Occasion Dresses: 2 items We aim to complete full construction of our website or setup of an Etsy storefront by December 1st. To celebrate a grand opening of our online store presence, we plan to host a fashion show event to showcase our inventory and attract potential customers and strategic partners. We hope to earn $500-$120,000 from this event.

Scenario Analysis
Based on the Goals & Objectives outlined above, we will consider the following alternatives during our first year of business: 1. If products sell and revenue is generated, then the revenue generated will be used to pay salaries. 2. If a product is sold and subsequently returned, then we guarantee a 7 day turnaround time for store credit or product replacement and communication with the customer. 3. If we begin selling products and receive more orders than we are able to process in the allotted time frame, then we will consider outsourcing production. 4. If we begin selling products and there is not enough interest or we receive too few orders, we will design new products in an effort to create more appealing products.
