As an American outdoor adventurer, television personality and wildlife biologist, Forrest Galante will entertain and enlighten SEWE patrons with live presentations. Galante hosts Discovery Channel’s flagship Shark Week every year, and now has multiple wildlife shows on the air, including Mysterious Creatures with Forrest Galante and Extinct or Alive.

Wings Over Water, a film co-produced by Ducks Unlimited and narrated by award-winning actor Michael Keaton, will showcase the importance of the Prairie Pothole Region of North America as a breeding and nesting habitat for birds. Wings Over Water will draw attention to this often-overlooked region and what it means for North American wildlife. After the showing, there will be a Q & A with the film’s producers.

FOUNDATION
The National Marine Mammal Foundation, a nonprofit organization recognized globally as a leader in marine mammal science, medicine, and conservation, will screen films featuring conservation stories. There will be a panel discussion and Q & A with scientists and veterinarians following the film.

Sponsored by South Carolina Ducks Unlimited Once again, SEWE has partnered with SCDNR and the US Fish & Wildlife Service for the SC Junior Duck Stamp Contest. SEWE has three continuous routes for ticket and badge holders and two VIP express shuttles for badge holders only. Shuttles are for your convenience but please note bus times can be unpredictable due to traffic. Many venues are walkable (see map). SEWE shuttles operate from 9:45 am through 30 minutes after close of show Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
SEWE shuttle is provided at no additional cost for SEWE ticket and badge holders during show hours.
We highly recommend using the free SEWE shuttle service. Ticket or badge required.

Additional parking near Brittlebank will be available on February 18 & February 19 for a flat rate of $5. Follow signage on Lockwood Blvd. to the lot behind the police station on Fishburne Street.
