With great enthusiasm, I extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Southwest Region of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, as we gear up for our 56th Southwest Annual Meeting and Educational Conference! This year's conference will be hosted by the Mu Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, and is set to take place in the sunny city of Torrance, California. We are thrilled to hold our annual meeting at the Double Tree Hotel, March 6 to March 9, 2025.

The theme spotlighting our conference this year is “Nurturing Tomorrow's Leaders: The Future of Nursing in a Changing World.” The planning committee has been hard a work planning an educational program that not only informs but also inspires, equipping you with valuable insights and tools to advance the nursing profession.

To enrich your conference experience, we encourage you to arrive early and extend your stay to explore the vibrant attractions that Torrance, California has to offer. From its stunning 1.5 miles of pristine beachfront to the expansive Del Amo Fashion Center, one of the largest shopping malls in the U.S., Torrance provides a blend of relaxation and excitement. Discover its thriving craft beer scene, enjoy world-class dining, or unwind in its 30 beautiful parks.

As the president of Mu Chi chapter, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to dignitaries, members, and guests attending the 56th Southwest Region Annual Meeting and Education Conference taking place March 6-9, 2025 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Torrance CA. It is a tremendous privilege to serve as the support Chapter President, and we have worked very hard to anticipate the needs of the region and the members of this exceptional organization. I want to bestow a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to this major endeavor under this powerful administration led by our Regional Director, Dr. Norlissa Cooper!

This year’s theme, “Nurturing Tomorrow's Leaders: The Future of Nursing in a Changing World,” underscores our commitment to advancing the nursing profession through advocacy, diversity, education, and research. Together, we will explore strategies to achieve health equity while fostering collaboration and innovation.

You can look forward to:

Inspiring plenary sessions and robust educational programming. Presentations and discussions led by nursing leaders, subject matter experts, and community advocates. Opportunities to network, share insights, and build lasting connections with fellow members who are equally passionate about Service for Humanity.
