Bap sm: one of the sacraments of the United Methodist Church, the way in which Jesus began his ministry, and our ini a on into the Church. Many of you may have been bap zed as an infant while others might have been bap zed at con rma on, and s ll, some are bap zed as adults, and we celebrate each of them with you. Some of you have never been bap zed before and we are excited about this part of your faith journey! We have a very unique opportunity here on the Emerald Coast to bap ze new believers or rea rm other’s bap sm in the Gulf. What an exci ng and meaningful way to mark your faith journey! I want to invite anyone who has been thinking about bap sm to join us on Sunday June 26, at 5:00 at Beasley Park. We will have food and drinks provided under the pavilion, and we will also celebrate the bap sms together before heading down to the water. Not only do we want those who will be bap zed to a end, but we also want our en re church family to come and be a part of this important day. This marks the beginning of a faithful journey where people will be surrounded by others to walk with them and alongside them. Come and show your support and encourage those who will be bap zed into the faith! It will be a wonderful me together as a church family.
