We would like to welcome everyone to our 2025 bull sale which will be our 33rd annual bull sale . Its an honor & pleasure to present this years set of bulls which we believe is our deepest set of bulls we have offered to date .
We would like to say thank you to all of repeat and new customers for your continued support in our program and genetics. You are all the backbone of this program and your support is sincerely appreciated. We try and run these cows as close as we can in comparison to the way you the commercial operations run your cattle and we make it a priority to make females that are fertile, deep bodied , easy fleshing, excellent udder qualities , great feet and structurally sound. The cattle market is stronger than its ever been and we truly believe this set of bulls will keep you in the drivers seat to sell heavy steers that will still leave you with a set of heifers and cows that will be maintenance free that will raise a big calf year after year
These bulls have been raised with you , the producer in mind while at the same time still achieving there greatest genetic capabilities. We have many new sire groups to pick from that will serve as some new outcross genetics for you to pick from such as LT Chiefton, Brooking Preakness, Coleman Rock and Montana Judgement along with several others.

It is a pleasure to work with the good folks at Spruce View over the last number of years and watch the program adapt and evolve yet still keep their eye on the ball in regards to the type of cattle they want to breed towards. Performance is instilled and has been the basis since it’s inception decades ago, that being said keeping the Angus cow as the “Queen of the Pastures” is as important as ever and with the genetic options that are available this has only gotten better as well. A fantastic calf market that has gained steam steadily has ultimately shown where the premiums in the market are at. Length of body, muscle and hair are all high on any order buyer list and the Spruce View bulls do that all day long.
Some fresh sire groups being offered this spring will surely catch your eye and give you some new bloodlines to access. The uniformity in the bull pen is admirable as it happens year in and out and that comes from a cow herd selected in the same discipline for decades. Delivery will take place in the first two weeks of April, where we will do our best to get your bulls as close to you as possible. If you are unable to have your bull delivered by April 20th, they can remain at Spruce View where we will continue to develop your bull at a cost of $3/day and at the buyer’s risk. Insurance is strongly suggested (an agent will be on site sale day). You are required to pick your bull up if you choose this option.

Terms & Conditions
TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, or previously arranged financing. Settlement is to be made following the completion of the sale, to the clerks of the sale. Animals will not be released until settlement is made. All monies are in Canadian funds.
DISPUTES: Bidding will be re-opened between the parties involved in a dispute. If there is no advance by either party, the buyer will be the person from which the auctioneer received the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final in these cases.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements made from the block will take precedence over any printed material from the catalogue. Therefore buyers should pay close attention for such announcements.
BREEDING GUARANTEE: All cattle are sold as sound and right and sell with a “Responsible Breeder’s Guarantee of Satis- faction”. In the unlikely event of a dispute, the regular sale terms and conditions, standard with the Canadian Angus Association shall apply.
SOUNDNESS EVALUATION: All bulls will have passed evaluation for physical & reproductive soundness by a veterinarian. All bulls will be semen tested prior to delivery and will have be accompanied, at time of delivery, by a semen certificate that meets or exceeds the CAA standard of 70% .
RISK: Ownership risk to the purchaser commences when the auctioneers hammer falls. Insurance is available sale day.
LIABILITIES: All people attending the sale do so at their own risk. Although every precaution will be made to ensure the safety and protection of both buyer and the livestock, the auctioneer and the sellers accept no responsibility in this matter and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of an accident or loss of property.
