Welcome to this year’s edition of the Cow-Boys Bull Sale! Eleven years has come and gone with many changes in the cattle industry, but our group has remained steadfast in presenting a great set of breed leading Angus genetics for your appraisal. The cattle markets are at unprecedented levels so now might just be the time to market your older herd bull and replace him with some new blood or to market some of those older cows and retain some heifers. We can satisfy either craving in one stop. And even if you get the idea to expand, we can help you deal with that as well. Shane Castle and Mark Forsyth from Castlerock Marketing will be in attendance as well on sale day to give their unbiased opinion on any of the sale offering, if needed. DLMS will also be broadcasting our sale to all that aren’t available to attend in person. They provide an excellent service to help us stay connected when life gets too busy. And, Brock Taylor from Taylor Auctions will be in attendance as well to help out with any questions. Taylor Auctions provides a great venue for our sale and its always a pleasure to work with them.
We have a wide selection of both calving ease heifer bulls to make life a bit easier and your big powerful types to help you capitalize on current markets with big steers. There are Angus bulls of all colors available with blacks, reds, and even a few red carriers. We have a fantastic selection of yearling bulls as well as some off-age fall born bulls, and a 2-year-old bull. These bulls are not pushed but developed with longevity in mind. They are grown to last and not melt away once turned out on pasture. They are managed to last for years to come. We also have on offer a select group of replacement heifers consigned from local producers. They are from the top of

Take your bulls home sale day and receive $100 off of your purchase. We will deliver free of charge until April 1st within a 300km radius. Beyond that distance and time bulls will be delivered to the closest central points. After April 1st delivery becomes the responsibility of the new owner. Bulls staying past April 1st will be charged $3/day. If you wish for your bulls to stay in our care, we would ask for you to protect your investment by purchasing insurance which will be available sale day. One of the first sons offered out of our South Point bull. Outcross genetics at its finest. The Maria cow family has been a great one with 1105J having sisters sell through Red Roundup to Six Mile and EKW Red Angus, and sons top test stations going to Batho Farms and JAS red angus. 1105J raised a daughter that just sold to Emmatt Creek Ranch at the Manitoba Magic in December.
Different twist again our of a heifer that came our way from Cinder Angus. She sure hit a home run with this first effort. Heifer bull with muscle shape and capacity.
Another Arrow son out of an outcross cow selected from WRAZ. This guy has been a standout since he was a baby. Dark red and easy doing. Would work on some well-developed heifers and leave some great daughters.

TERMS
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location.
The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless revious arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.
Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus ssociation, unless otherwise specified. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
PEDIGREE ESTIMATES
Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.
HEALTH
All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.
GUARANTEE
Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Angus Association with regard to health, freedom
LIABILITIES
All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The sellers, facility owner, auctioneer and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
DELIVERY
Every assistance will be given in getting your purchases home. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
PHONE, MAIL, WIRE BIDS
Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
INSURANCE
Agents will be in attendance to insure your purchases. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.
ERRORS
All announcements at sale time, written or oral, supercede any written material in the catalogue.
SEMEN INTEREST
Cow-Boy Sale Group reserves the right to retain an interest in any of the animals selling. The consignors reserve the right to collect 100 doses of semen on any bull in the sale at their expense and the buyers convenience. The semen is for in-herd use only.
