Cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions put forward from the breed association and Balog Auction. There are available upon request.
Everything possible will be done to assure that every bull in the sale will be a breeder. Dr. Storm Bartshoff will scrotal measure and physically evaluate every bull. Any animal that has not proven itself within 6 months of sale, September 30, 2025 if in healthy condition, may be returned to the seller at the buyer’s expense. The seller at his opinion may either return the purchase price or replace the animal with another of equal quality in ful settlement and satisfaction of all claims. Any complaints regarding any animal in this sale shall be made to the breeder. All complaints must be reported in writing by the buyer to the seller within 6 months and any animal returned must be free of disease and in good health.

We’d like to welcome everyone to our 34th Annual Bull Sale. A huge thank you to each and every one that supported our breeding program again this past year. We are very humbled and grateful.
A record setting year for the cattle industry and a renewed optimism and desire to own cows have been a welcome sight for all of us. We had a much different year in terms of moisture than the previous few and it was really exciting to see what some of our genetics could do with a normal grass year as opposed to the alternative. What a blessing it was! We hope this was the case for each and everyone of you.
One thing that hasn’t changed is our philosophy and the direction of our cowherd. No free passes on fertility, udders and feet. They have to raise a calf that not only is healthy and good looking but has real world performance and doesn’t have to break the bank to do it. Strict culling on calf vigour and poor maternal instincts are paramount. If they require any extra help, you can be assured they haven’t made it into our sale day offering. In other words, we have too much on the go to be dealing with babysitting cattle and this is something that has been passed on thru our bulls to our long time customers. Its something we take great satisfaction in. We don’t raise show cattle but instead focus on raising pounds in an efficient no nonsense manner. If this is something that interests you, we believe we have a pen of bulls that has somehow raised the bar again and will do the same for your cowherd. This years pen of bulls is extremely balanced, consistently powerful with sound structure. We have sorted our best for sale day and are very confident in the group.
