Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta was granted the ASEAN Green Hotel Award at the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2010 held in January 2010 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

Shangri-La Jakarta won 2 awards: SATOO (second winner in Best International Restaurant category) and B.A.T.S. (second winner in Best Live Music Bar category).

Indonesia Tourism Award 2010

National Geographic Traveler: Indonesia Best Hotel Awards 2009

The National Geographic Traveler magazine has named Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta in two categories in the 2009 Indonesia Best Hotel Awards. The hotel was named the Best Hotel in Indonesia in the “Hotel Facilities” category and named in second place in the “Hotel Room Condition” category.

National Geographic Traveler magazine held an online survey for its readers through its website at www.nationalgeographic.co.id. The National Geographic Traveler 2009 Indonesia Best Hotel Awards were given based on 11 categories: general, room condition, safety and security, food, services, facilities, Internet booking, architecture and scenery, location and access, social environment and customer satisfaction compared to price.

B.A.T.S. Bar & Restaurant has been voted as the fifth winner as the Best Music/Dance in Jakarta by the reader of the Jakarta Java Kini Magazine of March 2007.

Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta reigns in the category “Favourite Business Hotel in Jakarta”, as voted by readers of Alpha Southeast Asia Magazine across Asia, United States of America, and the Middle East in the magazine’s 2007 inaugural business travel poll.

Shangri-La Jakarta received World Travel Awards as “Indonesia’s Leading Conference Hotel” in the 14th Annual World Travel Awards in Bangalore, India on 2 November 2007.

Voted as the best hotel in giving contributions for Local Business Income of Area Province District in hotel category by KADIN Jakarta (Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in Tourism Section, held in January 2006.
