Taylor Gustafson & Sarah Hardin

DOGWOOD GATHERINGS AND EVENTS

Taylor Gustafson + Sarah Hardin

It was a given that Sarah Hardin and Taylor Gustafson would have a church wedding, as they have both been faithful churchgoers their whole lives. They knew they were on the same page about what they wanted in life after the very first messages they exchanged on the dating app where they met. They then met in person, and it wasn’t long before they began regularly attending church together. On Jan. 23, 2021, Taylor and Sarah were pronounced husband and wife at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. Their wedding colors were burgundy and navy blue with accents of blush. The patriotic shades of red and blue celebrated Sarah’s career in government affairs and Taylor’s experience in baseball. Sarah and Taylor’s relationship was built on intentionality and sincerity, and it was only fitting that each detail of their special day was meaningful enough to reflect that. Sarah wrote out each escort card by hand, and her father custombuilt the box in which the guests’ cards were collected at the reception. The couple opted for a smaller guest list, as it was important to them to spend quality time with everyone who attended. They also chose a wedding planner who shared their values.

“Addie Thompson at Dogwood Gatherings and Events is a genius!” Sarah says. “Our wedding could never have happened so flawlessly without her.”

Hiring Addie Thompson at Dogwood Gatherings and Events was a great gift to themselves, Sarah and Taylor say, because she completely took care of everything behind the scenes, which allowed the couple to enjoy the day.
