Faith In The Storm

"Sometimes, we encounter tragedies that leave us bewildered, prompting us to question God; however, it’s essential to recognize that there is a purpose behind these hardships, even when we struggle to comprehend it. We have a Merciful and Loving God who harbors no ill intentions toward us, but instead has a divine plan; often unknown to us until a later time. As difficult as it may seem now, place your trust wholeheartedly in God, for everything will be restored. Stand firm in faith, knowing He is our redeemer.

Today, I want to offer a prayer for all those affected by Hurricane Helena, and Milton, asking for peace and renewed strength in your faith, knowing He will guide you through this trying time. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones and to those still searching for their family members. May God grant you supernatural relief, a supportive community, and the provisions you need. Remember that you are loved.

Gracious and Merciful God, we pray for everyone affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene and Milton, from the Gulf Coast of Florida to Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee and beyond. Our prayers are especially with the injured, and the relief workers, and for restoring communication and safety throughout the region. May this heartfelt prayer surround the victims and those facilitating the vital work that is underway and provide comfort to storm victims and their families." In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, may the healing begin, Amen.

Yes, you can change!

YES, YOU CAN CHANGE! ARTICLE SPOTLIGHT ON Heather Fiehl

Let’s embrace what you think you can’t and turn that into something amazing! I truly believe we have all been there or have said, “I can’t, I’m not sure how, “I am not good enough or, I don’t believe I can”!

Challenges seem impossible and overwhelming until we make that shift! The moment you say yes to yourself is the magical moment of something powerful.

When I said yes to learning a language, becoming an author, or becoming a coach, it did not mean that I knew each and every step that I needed to take! It only meant that I was saying yes to my growth and stepping into something I was willing to let go of trying to control the outcome and just believe in myself that I would figure it out.

When things are tough or that path feels unclear, saying yes just pushes you to keep going. It will open doors of opportunities and windows of challenges at the same time! Just remember that without change, there is no change and if you are willing for change to happen, then you must change to allow that to happen!

Challenges, challenge us for a reason. and I am so grateful for them because in every challenge are lessons and if you can take and apply those lessons to the next step of your Journey, you simply just can’t lose! Challenges bring about growth, as you simply can’t have success and fear in the same sentence.

I challenged myself to dive into coaching women with their online business and brand, and now I get to serve women Globally on that and more. Of course it comes with challenges, everything does. If there were no challenges and if we did not say yes, we would be sabotaging our abilities and our next best version of who we want to become!

Doubt will always creep in and it does from time to time but with selfassured, self-awareness, resilience and a deeper self-belief, it is all so possible.

There are way to many benefits of saying yes, then there are to saying no! Step into discovering your inner strengths, build that business on the backbone of what you believe in, open further opportunities and let new windows of opportunity open up for you too!

Even when I first thought about why maybe I should not step into being a home stager, an event planner, a coach or author, I embraced the unknown, welcomed the challenges and took control of how life can truly be transformed just because I decided to say YES!

Thank you so much, Heather Fiehl

"Coffee Chats, Build-Engage-Sell" is written for you to share the exact steps needed to create impact and influence while cultivating deep relationships that truly is the foundation of any business.

KEEPING YOUR FAITH

Keeping your faith through difficult times can be incredibly challenging and deeply transformative. Here are some practical steps and perspectives to help you maintain your faith during tough periods:

1. Lean on Prayer or Meditation.

Prayer or meditation can help you feel grounded and connected to your faith during difficult times. Even when it feels hard, just sitting in silence, expressing your feelings to God (or in a way aligned with your beliefs), or reading sacred texts can bring peace and clarity.

2. Surround Yourself with Support.

Engage with others who share your faith, whether through a church community, support group, or friends and family who encourage you spiritually. Being around people who uplift you can help maintain your faith, even when your personal strength is low.

3. Focus on Gratitude

Amid hardship, finding small things to be grateful for can help shift your perspective. Keeping a gratitude journal or reflecting on moments of grace, even in adversity, reinforces your trust that better days will come.

4. Hold on to Scripture or Words of Wisdom

There may be specific verses, prayers, or sayings from your faith tradition that bring comfort. Keeping these close by whether memorized, written down, or easily accessible can provide solace and remind you of God’s presence during difficult times.

For example:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18

5. Trust in the Process

Faith often requires believing in what you cannot see. Trust that, even when things don’t make sense right now, there is a purpose, and your struggle is part of a larger story.

6. Be Honest with Your Emotions

It’s okay to question and express your pain. Having faith doesn’t mean ignoring the reality of your emotions. Sometimes, acknowledging the depth of your hurt can lead to a greater depth of faith.

7. Look for Meaning in the Struggle

Often, the hardest times can teach us lessons, deepen our faith, and shape us into more resilient and compassionate people. Reflecting on what this struggle is teaching you, or what strength it’s building, can help you stay grounded in faith.

8. Take One Day at a Time

When times are tough, looking too far ahead can feel overwhelming. Focus on making it through one day, or even one hour, at a time. Small steps forward in faith can lead to profound change over time.

9. Engage in Service

Sometimes, giving to others during your own difficulties can bring a sense of purpose and perspective. It reminds you that you can still be a force for good, even in challenging circumstances.

10. Reflect on Past Trials

Reflect on past difficulties that you ’ ve overcome. Remembering how you made it through tough times before, and how your faith carried you, can strengthen your belief that you will make it through again. Are there specific challenges you ’ re facing where you feel your faith is being tested? I’d love to offer more tailored guidance.

Whenyouarehealed, delivered, andset other people’s opinions and insecur becomeirrelevant. ~JenniferFoxworthy

Above all, Jennifer is living proof that dreams, passions, and goals are obtainable if you trust in God, surround yourself with positive people, and put one foot in front of the other.

Jennifer C. Foxworthy was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania; once she graduated high school from William Penn Senior High in 1991, she embarked on a journey that would lead her into an illustrious career serving in the United States Navy. Jennifer served her country proudly for 21 years (September 23, 1991, to April 30, 2013) retiring as a Chief Petty Officer (E-7).

In the first four years of her Naval career, Jennifer was an Ocean Systems Technical Analyst (OTA). Her job entailed detecting, localizing, and tracking enemy submarines. Wanting to try something different, she eventually signed up for and went through the Naval Aircrew Candidate training in Pensacola, Florida in 1995. One of her greatest accomplishments was being among the elite few to graduate from this school. Surprisingly, she was the first African American female in over five years to complete this training.

For over 14 years as an Aircrewman, she flew on three different platforms (E6-A, P-3, and EP-3), flew in combat missions in support of three wars (Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq), logged over 3700 flight hours and received four Air Medals. She also knocked down stereotypes by becoming the first African American female Aircrewman, the first African American Aircrewman in the enlisted ranks, and the first female In-Flight Technician during her squadron tours.

Jennifer’s distinguished military career didn’t stop there; she changed her focus in the military from Active Duty warfare to Active Duty welfare and completed the Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation Program School in Point Loma, California in 2010. In December 2011, she became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADCI). She expertly managed over 119 drug and alcohol abuse/dependency cases, facilitated 212 hours of Early Education and Awareness classes, and conducted 490 hours of therapy sessions that fostered successful drug and alcohol abuse/dependency recovery plans.

Jennifer reaped the rewards of working hard, helping others, and being a role model. She earned numerous personal achievements and awards including Outstanding Military Person of the Year (an honor recognized by the Washington State Masons), 2007 Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Sea Sailor of the Year, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals as well as other unit and campaign awards. She also earned a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship as an Electronics Mechanic through the United States Department of Labor in May 2009.

Jennifer is excited and passionate about her second career choice as the proud Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Inspirationally Speaking, LLC where she is a powerful motivational speaker, sought after public speaking coach, and prolific blogger of G.U.M.B.O (Greatness Unbounded Moving Beyond Ordinary). She is also the Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Unstoppable You Ministries, Inc., which is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and social enterprise.

Jennifer continues to make a positive impact as the event organizer and host of the Unstoppable You Conference, which has become a movement requested around the country. In addition, she is the published author of her first book titled ‘Tomorrow My Sunshine Will Come: Memoirs of Women Who Survived Domestic Violence.’

Jennifer also added TV Show Host to her list of endeavors. Her show, Living Unshackled ON Purpose, provides insight and inspiration while giving a 360-degree perspective into the horrible epidemic of domestic violence and sexual assault and everything in between.

Not willing to shy away from challenges, Jennifer was added to a phenomenal list of corporate speakers to give professional development training to the College of Southern Maryland’s business clients.

Wanting to make an impact at the local, state, and national level, she is an active member of Women Veteran Speakers (WVS), Women Speakers Association (WSA), Concerned Black Women of Calvert County (CBW), a lifetime member of Women Veterans Interactive (WVI), Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV), and Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) of Toastmasters International as well Talk of The Town club Vice President of Education.

Believing that higher education is paramount, in March 2012, Jennifer received an Associate of Science in Business Administration Degree from Columbia College of Missouri and is an active Alumnus. She then went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Communications (2015) and Master’s in Management with a focus of Public Relations (2017), both degrees earned from the University of Maryland University College.

In May 2020, Jennifer earned her fourth degree a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Salisbury University. Humbled and honored to be nominated, Jennifer was recognized as the Calvert County Commission for Women’s 2015 Outstanding Achievement Award in Business Leadership. She also was the recipient of the Columbia College of Missouri Alumni’s 2015 Jane Froman Courage Award, as well as, the 2015 Concerned Black Women’s Community Excellence Award.

Tomorrow My Sunshine Will Come: Memoirs of Women Who Survived Domestic Violence manifested itself through sharing my story openly with other women. I believed that I was the only crazy person to tolerate such humiliation and embarrassment.

This couldn't be further from the truth. The more I shared my story, the more other women came forward and said they could relate. The more stories I heard, the more I felt compelled to share them with other women, who are ashamed and afraid to tell their experience. Jamika’s, Felicia’s, Allison’s, Pam’s, Karen’s, and my story are unique to us, they each have a very similar pattern.

Through unfortunate circumstances early in life, our selfesteem was impacted. While looking for love and acceptance, we were susceptible to staying in these horrible relationships. We each, at one time or another, questioned, “How in the hell did this happen?” Follow our journey as we find the will to escape our abusive nightmare and survive. ~Jennifer Foxworthy If you would like to learn more about Ms. Jennifer Foxworthy books or services, visit her website at www.inspirationallyspeaking.com

About the Author

My name is Theory Ann Bastian-Verrett. I am a believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I was born November 8th with a rebirth date of July / 2016 (re - baptized). I am from Vacherie, Louisiana an only girl with Late Lowell I and Late Elsie N Bastian. I grew up with three brothers, as they were very protective and tough. One of my siblings encouraged me to enter the field of medicine because he was a medical doctor; while the others would encourage me in different areas. I grew up attending church and church events. I understood early the importance of God. Along with who He was in this life because my family especially my daddy would stress it. I grew up and accounted for the life that God had bestowed on me to be important. However, life took a turn with the trials ahead. When life hit like a ton of bricks, I had nothing but Jesus Christ of Nazareth left. I married in August 1991 and divorced in August 2010. Two children were born out of this union. One was adopted. I was a mother of three children along with being a wife when trials began. I decided to tell my story through the prompting of the Holy Spirit to give God Glory. The journey has not been a cakewalk but to see God fulfill the promises He has made it undeniable. As He continues to be my source, I encourage you to let Him do the same for you.

From Credit Disaster To Credit Master: How to Legitimately Earn High Credit Scores and Solve Problems

This book, authored by Credit Master and former Nationally Syndicated Consumer Advocacy Radio Host Laurie Zoock Madock of CreditEducationConsultants.com, is your essential guide to mastering consumer credit. Frustrated by seeing consumers ripped off by many deceptive credit repair companies and ending up with worse scores, I decided to write this educational book to offer the truth, not a sales pitch. I don’t tell you what you want to hear. I explain what you need to know. Read my testimonials here: https://crediteducationconsultants.com/testimonials.

Forget about credit repair schemes, "special" letters, and too-good-to-be-true promises. There are no “magic tricks” to achieve high scores in an impossibly short time. Don't fall for false promises. Too many consumers have been cheated out of their money by ineffective systems. Most credit repair companies rely on your repeated business, ensuring you come back month after month whenever a problem arises.

I want to empower you to become your own Credit Master, capable of solving problems independently and gaining a valuable life skill. This book will teach you how the credit system really works. It's your reality check. Problems must be solved legitimately, and this book will reveal much more than you ever imagined, providing tips worth far more than the price of the book.

If you want to take control and truly master consumer credit, this is the book for you. Get started today!

LAURIE MADOCK

Dan and Laurie Madock own CreditEducationConsultants.com. Dan runs the business, and Laurie is a credit consultant and teacher with lots of experience. Laurie’s also hosted radio shows about helping consumers. We believe that understanding how the credit system works and fixing real problems is the key to improving your credit score over time. We want to make it clear: we're not a company that promises unrealistic fixes. You need to learn the basics of credit before trying to solve problems and build good credit. This book will give you a realistic view of how the credit system actually operates.

COLORLESS

As the season begins to change all around us I close my eyes and become still. Completely I surrender, I ask you to lead me my mind, and my heart to a patient, gracious personality. Allow me the courage to go on to help myself and others. Forever I follow you Into the wilderness with pure faith. Allow you to take hold of my heart in these troubling times.

Life is hard, not easy. Still, I stand strong in faith and belief. Time may only be an illusion; like a daisy heading toward the sun, It takes time, time to become, time to mature, and time to bloom. When we’re finally ready, the world will see our beauty, our true selves, for we are greatness, for we are beauty, for we are love.

Sometimes we question why the road leads us astray, not the path we want to take. But what we don't know is that there is a beautiful lake that takes away your troubles, ahead of that abandoned road.

Recalling, the words you have said to calm the storm and shield the vessel that bears my soul. I reach for your hand to pull me from the past. I stand here, colorless, I surrendered in the coldness, I could see my breath and my pulse meant nothing. He put the air in my lungs.

My body ached just to be remembered. Take my hand, and show me, Teach me what it is to have a soul like yours. Take the embers of my past, blow them into your aura. Pull me by my scars, under your wings, into your arms.

Signs were everywhere as they seeped in through the connection. Time diminishes the pain and leaves a beautiful reminder mark on our spirit. It's all part of our journey. Breath in. Breath out.

There’s something so poetic about going through a rough patch and then seeing a bird while sitting under the sun. Look at you, smiling again. Look at you, still trying. Look at you growing up and being alive.

Whispers of change dance in the morning light. The wind carries tales of what’s yet to be. A canvas of hope, waiting patiently, for you have never been alone with every breath; a promise unfolds, stories of courage, waiting to be told. Leaves rustle softly, inviting the day, embracing the journey, come what may.

Each step we take is a chance to explore, opening doors to the unknown shore. For in every ending, new paths we can find. It's about being better than you were yesterday, for it's our faith that carries us through the darkness and into the light. Without my faith, I have nothing.

THE POWER OF PRAYER

Your Sincere Prayers have provoked Heaven.

King Hezekiah was sick unto death. The Prophet Isaiah came and told the king to set your house in order, you shalt die and not live. The King could have taken the Word and laid down and died. King Hezekiah Faith stood up and made him to his face to the Wall and Begin to Pray.

His Persistence made him begin to remind God of His Word and how he had walked upright keeping his hands clean and his heart pure. The King wept sorely because he desperately needed something from God.

(Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?) His Sincere Prayer provoked God so much that God told the Prophet to Go back and tell the King I will heal him in Three days and also I am going to Add 15 years to his life.

Are you provoking Heaven and reminding God of his word? With your Sincere prayers because you have Walked in Obedience, keep your hands clean and your heart pure. The Sincere Power of Prayer will make your Faith Stand up and turn your Face to the wall. To remind God of His Promise over your life.

Has the Power of Prayer made you Persistent in your Prostrate Position through your Cries and Plea reminding God of His Holy Word?

For over 30 years, I have served as a missionary throughout Central and South America, Africa, the Caribbean, and Haiti, with my organization In His Service International Ministry, has worked with many organizations and evangelists in these countries. My duties included humanitarian efforts, medical clinics, crusades, evangelism, and women ’ s and children’s ministry and now I bring insight and education about Human Trafficking everywhere I go. I have lived in different States and always served my local community. I lived in PA, GA, SC and now Florida. In one of my mission trips while I was in Peru in 2005, I learn for first time about HT and since then I became involved in the fight against HT. I work advocating for trafficking survivors around the world, the USA, and FL where I currently live and work. Since 2006, I have worked with Breaking Chains and Finding Freedom International as part of operations that rescue girls from brothels both in Latin America and many other countries. In 2017, I was brought on the staff at World Relief as the Human Trafficking Community Coordinator and Volunteer Director. The Colorful Journey Of Healing

Journey Sumler

Meet Journey, a radiant 9-year-old born on the joyous day of Christmas with a spirit as bright as the holiday itself. Journey's inquisitive nature and outgoing personality make her a friend to all, she's never met a stranger she couldn't inspire. With a love for engaging conversations, she connects with nearly everyone willing to share a moment of their day.

Her love for wheelchair basketball has been a fun sport that keeps her busy. She also has a set of identical twin brothers who she bosses around and has tons of fun with. They are a great deal of help to Journey. The three of them are also known as Irish triplets.

Journey's bravery is as remarkable as her story. Diagnosed with Caudal Regression Sacral Agenesis Syndrome, her spinal cord terminates at the T6 level, leading her to navigate the world nonambulatorily with the aid of a wheelchair. Yet, she remains undeterred by the stares and questions of curiosity from her peers.

We instill in her daily that she is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Born in San Diego, CA, and now calling Jacksonville her home since 2016, Journey has faced medical challenges. From her full-term birth via c-section due to her in utero diagnosis, to her early fight against malrotation of the intestines, she has shown resilience beyond her years. At just six days old, during recovery and surrounded by tubes, she turned her head at the sound of her father's voice when he walked into her room—a beacon of hope for her mother at that very moment.

Journey's past surgical history is a testament to her strength, having undergone multiple procedures including intestinal malrotation repair, tendon release, bilateral percutaneous Achilles tendon lengthening, and surgeries on her femurs and knees. Despite these challenges, she continues to thrive and is seen annually at the multidisciplinary Spinal Defects Clinic at Nemours in Jacksonville.

As Journey prepares for an extensive upcoming surgery, her determination and zest for life remain unshaken. She is a beacon of hope, a source of inspiration, and a reminder to us all that nothing can dim the light that shines from within. She is excited to give back to others what has been so freely given to her. She has a heart for medically complex children. We are eager to see where her journey takes her throughout the years.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Faith

To have Faith means to acknowledge the existence of a Higher Power, in a personal way

An omnipresent force that in the Grand scheme of things playing out the physical movie theater role, making “Everything ok.“

A Happy Ending

A Last Dance into Heaven

Beyond and Above anything that appears to go wrong.

In Truth, everything plays out as it should

Faith goes hand in hand with trust that God has our back; He is behind everything we do and don’t do and leads us to what is good.

Hidden reasons beyond our comprehension

Like when something goes wrong, it makes something right, Faith bringing in peace and releasing tension.

Natashia Hagans

Radically Driven Faith”

You see, she was safe in her corner of the wor

No one bothered her. I mean no one did

She walked in straight lines

Never twisted or turned

Dreams dusted with cobwebs hidden In a treasure chest

Until one day, an earthquake awakened her dreams

The light bulb in her head clicked, and the corners of the world needed to hear her roar

Destiny was her name

She was ready to be shaken upside down

Like loose change from the bottom of a purse

The ideas in her head decided it needed a destination

It needed to wiggle, squiggle, and zig-zag

Her dreams needed a dive to the edge of a cliff

She jumped into her purpose while in mid-air

She had no idea how she was going to execute the unknown

But the leap of faith she took was radically driven

With stars sparkling and cascading like fireworks

It had her shocked Fears canceled

Her engine was in gear

She decided not to pause on yellow traffic lights

She rode into a magnificent sunset

Radically driven

True Happiness

True Happiness is only achieved when you have complete peace Within!

Even if things in life are in turmoil, having you surrounded by nothing but Sin!

True Happiness isn’t a temporary feeling, something fabricated in the Mind!

It’s there throughout your days, especially when life’s problems arise putting you in some type of Bind!

True Happiness can’t be achieved through materialistic Things!

In fact, the more you have you’ll come to realize the stress it Brings!

Cuz all those worldly possessions can’t change how you feel Inside!

Although, looks can be deceiving so there are plenty who try and Hide!

Behind the wealth, the fame, and the Glory!

Never really coming face to face with their inner Story!

Thinking that they've achieved true happiness and are where they want to Be!

Sooner or later though, they’ll wake up and smell the Coffee!

And come to realize that true happiness is only achieved when we keep our thoughts focused on those hills in the Sky!

Resting in the Lord’s arms, keeping the faith that no matter what he will always help us to get By!

Whether you are a man or woman, boy or girl it’s best you get to know Christ during these last days on Earth! He’s coming back soon, so I personally recommend right after Birth!

I am a child of “The Most High God” striving for True Happiness Every day!

Well, I feel I should leave it on this note cuz to me there is really nothing left to Say!
