Charlie Wilson, a member of Sywell Air Scouts, had to wait two years before he could take up his prize of a ‘taster’ flight at Turweston, but did on 5 February. Charlie, 15, won the Intermediate class first prize for the 2020 competition ‘Flying Yesterday and Tomorrow’, and flew in Turweston Flying Club’s American Traveller with instructor Anthony Hatch.
