THIS MONTH: A Letter from the Heart
C
lients and communities are the heart of my business and one of my core beliefs has always been finding ways to care for them. None of us expected to have to deal with something like the Covid crisis and it’s like nothing we have ever experienced before. Finding ways to conduct business safely and counsel clients during these unprecedented times has been a challenge—we are all learning as we go. My plan however, is to continue to be your trusted resource, to provide valuable insights and relevant facts and offer access to my own network of resources. My first big initiative will be The Spotlight Series—an opportunity to hear from experts in their field. Topics will include Estate Planning, Mortgages & Your Money, Property Taxes, Interior Design, and so much more! We will offer scheduled Zoom-based sessions with live Q&A’s as well as recordings you’ll be able to access at your convenience. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram to see all upcoming events or email me at shaunna.burhop@bairdwarner.com to be added to the invitation list and to get access to the recordings. As for buying and selling in the upcoming months—I’m here for you and finding creative ways to keep things moving, including: • virtual home tours; • Zoom-based consultations for buyers and sellers; • private showings; • virtual staging consultations; • video walk-throughs; and • current market updates. + I appreciate your support and am Watch the first two presentations in the Spotlight here to support you. Remember we are Series, Estate Planning and Mortgages & Your Money, on my YouTube channel all #inthistogether! n

2 / DOUBLE DOWN. I love this look and recently created something similar at one of my listings to stage a long family room wall as a homework/project center. We sourced it at IKEA and used 2 black “Linnmon” table tops centered over a freestanding drawer and dressed it up with 4 curved “Lalle” legs. All at IKEA.com

DESIGN TRENDS:
3 / MAKE IT POP. With a workspace in the family room, you can still be part of the action while hard at work. Above, clear seating and minimalist orange tables contrast favorably with the apple-green walls. Check out the “Slim” line of steel desks at RoomandBoard. com, available in 15 different colors

CARING FOR CLIENTS: “Buying a home is not unique. However, buying a home remotely from Phoenix during a pandemic most certainly is unique. From the virtual showing, inspection, walk-through and closing, Shaunna was somehow able to make the transaction seamless, despite citywide lockdowns and workplace challenges. She goes above and beyond to help her clients.”
