Calcium also may deposit in breast tissue. Calcium found in kidney stones alsoisanotherreflectionofcalciumin the wrong place. Many specialists have gone to recommendingthat we avoid calciumsupplementsalltogether. This is not to deny the definite rule of calcium forthe bones and a few other functions, butnotethatsupplements have been associated with significant problems. Some people have pointed outthattheproblemistwofold.Itmay indeed be the type of supplement that is employed coupled with the lack of vitaminK2.
Keep in mind several years ago there
were major recommendations to avoid calciumsupplementation beyond 1,000 to1,500mgrange.Thereisafairchance the reason that calcium supplementation above this range causes problems isbecausewehadthewrongtypeofcalcium along with the lack of vitamin K2. The most common source of vitamin K2 includesdairyandsomeanimalproducts. However,it is foundin high concentrations in fermented foods as well asingreenvegetablessuchasbroccoli, spinachandkale.
Sources of calcium are well-known. Thosenotabletotoleratethedairy form can find it in many green leafy products. Please note that there have beennoassociationsofoverdose through natural calcium mechanisms. Many people find that combining vitaminsK2withD3helpstoguardagainst occasional problems that can occur
from hydrosvitamin D with the movementof calcium from the proper place of the bone to other areaswhere it does not belong. Indeed, vitamins D3 and K2 are important supplements that have becomequitepopular.
Vitamin K2 has been shown to have animpact onseveralcancersincluding prostate cancer and liver cancer. Thus far, we cannot say the same for breast cancerwith one study showingsome mild worsening. With the mechanisms available, I suspect this way of thinking will be reversed. We also know that vitamin K2 helps some blood disorders suchasleukemiaandMDS.
Manyresearchers are excited that this inexpensive natural supplement will have a role for additional measures as well. Because it is so depleted in the soil, it’s important to supplement with vitaminK2.
