TRENTON, N.J. (April 9, 2025) – The New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s (NJEDA) will host several information sessions for small business owners interested in the Route 80 Business Assistance Grant Program. The grant program will support small businesses in Morris County that have experienced a decline in revenue due to the lane closures on Route 80 caused by the ongoing sinkhole repairs The NJEDA Board approved the program today during its monthly meeting and the Authority expects to open applications later this month.
WHAT: The Route 80 Business Assistance Grant Program will provide grants ranging from $1,000 to $15,000 to businesses and non-profits located in close proximity to Route 80’s Exit 34, the epicenter of the sinkholes causing traffic disruptions. The Authority will host in-person and virtual information sessions for businesses owners to learn more about the program’s eligibility requirements and application process.
WHO: Eligible applicants include small businesses and non-profits that have up to 50 full-time employees Businesses must be located in Morris County and within a five-mile radius of Route 80’s Exit 34. Applicants must also certify a negative financial impact of at least $1,000 for the first quarter of 2025.

Overview
The Program Ally Coordinator will join our team located in New Jersey supporting JCP&L programs. We are looking for an outgoing and technically skilled candidate to support a commercial and industrial energy efficiency focused program This person will effectively communicate commercial energy efficiency focused program offerings and help contractors navigate the project application process. Projects focus on the adoption of energy efficient technologies, correct use of those technologies, and participation in client-sponsored incentive programs with special priority on minority, women-owned, and emerging small business firms with limited experience working with efficiency programs.

Role & Responsibilities
The Program Ally Coordinator will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing management of Program Ally contractors for commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs, fostering collaboration both internally and with external stakeholders This includes but is not limited to:
• Program Ally Onboarding and Management: Review and process Program Ally applications to ensure all required components are complete, coordinating closely with the Outreach Manager for application approvals. Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions for approved Program Allies that include portal training and setup, program rules, processes, measure specifications, documentation submission, and quality control procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date Program Ally information in the CRM to support seamless operations.
• Network Engagement and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all Program Allies, fostering strong relationships and consistent communication. Develop and distribute periodic communications (e.g., newsletters and updates) and organize ongoing training sessions to support the Program Ally network. Work collaboratively with the "boots on the ground" outreach team to align messaging and ensure effective engagement with stakeholders. Actively gather feedback from Program Allies to drive program improvements and enhance their experience.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all Program Allies adhere to program rules, processes, and procedures Monitor critical compliance requirements, including deadlines for W9 submissions and maintaining valid Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Track and report outreach, engagement efforts, and Program Ally performance metrics in the CRM, supporting data-driven decision-making and operational transparency.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Collaborate closely with the Outreach Manager and the outreach team to address trends, challenges, and opportunities identified within the Program Ally network. Partner with internal teams to align strategies and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders, enhancing overall program coordination and success

Qualifications
