NRS Integrates with Google to Help Local Retailers
Attract More In-Store Shoppers
Newark, NJ – National Retail Solutions (NRS) has unveiled a new integration with Google designed to help independent retailers increase foot traffic and boost sales. The collaboration allows retailers to automatically showcase their in-store products on Google Search, Google Maps, and the Shopping tab, making it easier for local customers to discover and visit nearby stores.
Automated Visibility for Local Shoppers
With the new integration, NRS retailers can leverage Google's extensive reach to connect with customers who are actively searching for products in their area. When local shoppers look for items online, Google will display which nearby retailers have the products in stock, directing consumers straight to the store for purchase. This automated process eliminates the need for manual product updates and uploads, streamlining retailers' online presence and saving valuable time.
“We’re excited to further collaborate with Google on this initiative to equip our retailers with the tools necessary for success,” said Ari B. Korman, SVP of Ecommerce at NRS. The partnership drives more store traffic and provides a hassle-free way for retailers to maintain an updated online profile.
Building Trust with Verified Business Profiles
A key component of this integration is verified Google Business Profiles. Retailers who have their business verified on Google can ensure that their product listings are accurately linked to the correct store location. This verification process builds customer trust, making it easier for shoppers to locate and choose local businesses when searching for products online.
Empowering Independent Retailers
Elie Y Katz, President and CEO of NRS, emphasized the importance of this partnership in leveling the playing field for small and mid-size retailers “At NRS, we’re committed to providing our independent retailers with the tools and technology they need to thrive and compete with larger chains Our new integration with Google represents a powerful partnership, allowing our retailers to effortlessly connect with local shoppers and grow their businesses like never before,” Katz said.
Operating a leading point-of-sale (POS) terminal-based platform and NRS Pay credit card processing across thousands of active terminals in the USA and Canada, NRS empowers retailers with advanced solutions. Their custom-built POS system, featuring inventory management, sales tracking, and marketing tools, continues to serve as a vital resource for independent retailers in a competitive market.
