‘We have consultants based around the country, so often hold events along the M4 corridor. We selected Bath because of its convenient transport links and because it is a city full of character’ Newton Europe

The place to be Exclusive event locations Bath’s spectacular, centuryspanning architecture has earned it World Heritage Site status. It’s something that’s reflected in our huge range of unique venues, perfect for staging events that really make an impact. The elegant Georgian Assembly Rooms are just one example, offering a refined setting for conferences, exhibitions and gala dinners. Bath has plenty of options that just aren’t available anywhere else. An atmospheric, torchlit drinks reception around the steaming waters of the Roman Baths is an experience unique to this city, while a sumptuous banquet at the Holburne Museum overlooking Great Pulteney Street is sure to linger long in the memory. It’s easy to combine business with pleasure in Bath. Hold your meeting at a contemporary spa complex for example, and follow it up with an indulgent two-hour spa session at the world-famous Thermae Bath Spa. The city also boasts a number of luxurious four- and five-star hotels. There are superb spa hotels like the Macdonald Bath Spa, along with famous historic buildings and townhouse locations such as the Royal Crescent Hotel. But Bath’s appeal doesn’t end at the city

limits. The surrounding countryside is home to picturesque villages and characterful towns plus some of the finest country houses in Britain. Examples include Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa and Longleat House, both of which offer luxurious, exclusive facilities for corporate functions.

Game on Sporting Venues Add some excitement with an event at one of Bath’s sporting locations, versatile venues that offer a range of options. Enjoy a corporate race day at Bath Racecourse or entertain clients at a Bath Rugby Club home game. The surrounding countryside contains some of the finest golf clubs in the South West. Society golf and corporate business events can be held at the 36-hole Cumberwell Park Golf Club and at Bowood Golf Club, home to a celebrated 18-hole course.

Size matters Small meeting places Bath has a large supply of small meeting spaces available within the city and beyond, from intimate rooms in luxury hotels to purpose built facilities; they provide an ideal working environment perfect for board meetings, or for impressing clients.

Indulge your creative side

Itinerary Ideas We’ve put together a number of incentive options – download them from bathconference.co.uk/ incentives
