Summer Treats
Mountain Brook Village Favorites An Ousler Cream Cheese & Olive Sandwich with a Gilchrist Limeade and a double scoop of Goldmine Ice Cream (it’s simply the best) from Mountain Brook Creamery for dessert are the perfect way to spoil my taste buds on a lazy summer day spent with my boys.

The Perfect Table
Dyron’s Low Country Finding an open date on the calendar isn’t always easy, but when the stars align my husband, David, and I know the perfect spot to make a reservation. Nestled in the back corner of Dyron’s Low Country is a booth made for two that’s perfect for reconnecting, while sipping on the perfect cocktail as we savor every delicious bite.
BWF Means Family
Brookwood Forest Elementary My husband and I both grew up in Mountain Brook and knew we wanted to give our boys the best education just as our parents had done for us. When we found our home on North Woodridge, little did we know that not only would we be blessing our boys with a wonderful education but that we were also blessing them with an amazing home away from home at Brookwood Forest Elementary. The Ashford family are forever Rangers!
Chapel of Memories
Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church This chapel brings me peace and transforms me to times of celebrations, tears and new beginnings with a special hymn, “On Eagles Wings” always playing in my mind. When the main sanctuary burned almost 20 years ago, the connected chapel remained unharmed, standing tall as a symbol of hope among the ashes.

Belle Meade Way From the moment I turn into the driveway on Belle Meade Way, I am home. There is an inflatable for every occasion, decorations on the inside and out for each holiday, and most days something yummy baking in the oven. It’s the front porch where David picked me up for our first date and proposed to me seven years later on Christmas morning, and a backyard full of dollhouse memories and swing set laughter for my sisters and me that have turned into kickball games and tree swings for the grandchildren.
