I draw upon strong interdisciplinary design experience to create bold narratives that connect people to spaces with all their senses. I hold a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design), and travelled to Italy as a finalist for the Milan to Venice Biennale Study scholarship. I am also a trained and experienced graphic and motion designer – craft and skills that complement and enhance my work. As such I’m capable of taking a project from initial brief right through to final implementation. As a motion designer I worked on popular and significant films and TV series including First Australians, Lani’s Story, Mrs Carey’s Concert, Matilda Candidate, Ian Thorpe - The Swimmer, Art & Soul and My Place. As a graphic designer and art director I’ve worked at high profile (and high pressure) advertising agencies such as M&C Saatchi, Campaign Palace, Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, and Whybin\ TBWA. And for blue-chip clients including Telstra, Qantas, Sony PlayStation, St.George, Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths and Westfield. I’m also highly proficient in design, crafting type and interior design software – including Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Revit, Twinmotion, Lumion and Sketchup.

â&#x20AC;&#x153;Goat Island should be returned under

native title to the original owners, and the remnant buildings removed.â&#x20AC;?

LOCATION: Goat Island is a place rich in history and narrative, both Indigenous and Colonial. During the early years of the Port Jackson colony it served as a haven for prominent Aborigines Barrangaroo and her husband Bennelong. Indigenous use continues today with numerous events and functions, including recent awareness days organised by the Redfern Babana community organisation. As it is a harbour island, access will be via the water, allowing the experience to begin (and to be

managed) before even arriving at the memorial. Since the demise of the Deadly Awards in 2014 (due to Federal Budget cuts) there has been a gap in inspirational narrative for contemporary Aboriginal Australians. This memorial is intended to at least partly fill that gap. For tourists wanting an experience that celebrates Aboriginal Australians today. It is a special spot for Australians to remember great musicians, artists, sportspeople, community and political leaders of this land.

AGENDA is a new way to care for the aged, designed for the LGBTQI+ and HIV positive communities. This Shakespearean quote is not merely a promise to future residents entering life’s Third Act – it is a simple yet directional statement to inform decision making, a guiding vision for the project itself. Dramatic lines, flamboyant fittings, extravagant spaces. Because ageing gays should never be hidden away – they have the right to remain spectacular!

• AGENDA is aged care specialising in elderly HIV care. For decades

the LGBTQI community have felt discriminated against especially at church based centres

• This is a new beginning for aged care. I have created AGENDA HUB

which takes over the whole Redfern Mounted Police site. In phase two, 31 units at the Baptist Street side of the site are upgraded to aged care and pet friendly

• The temple upgraded to an event centre with gallery and restaurant for gay weddings and other fabulous events

• Stables converted to community areas halls for groups such as AA, GA, NA and coming out groups

• The police museum is extended for a community cafe with parts of the museum police reference keep intact

• The 1.5 acres of land in the middle of the site a sensory garden is created for the people that live there and for the Surry Hills / Redfern community

• Bring your dog for a run at the dog park area and grab a coffee at the AGENDA HUB cafe

SITE: SOUTH

• Mardi Gras float tank is situated in the side hall • Once a month markets • On the Bourke Street side of the site the detached building is re-adapted into ‘2010 homestay’ in phase two. There the young 2010 homestay residents are encouraged to spend time with AGENDA residents

• Practice and performance space for the gay and lesbian choir • Hospice and dementia centre block is next to AGENDA building • At AGENDA HUB there are multiple levels of engagement for residents
