Grace Ensemble enjoys Atlanta The Grace Christian Academy Ensemble returned home last week from the 2014 Atlanta Heritage International Choral Festival basking in the glow of their award at the regional competition: Gold Superior.

Patricia Nash had been manufacturing women’s handbags for other brands and labels for more than 20 years before she found an inspiration in her mother’s closet that launched her own line, Patricia Nash Designs.

Tennessee women: Book B ook o off a accomplishments ccomplishments geared to students By Wendy Smith A book event held last week at the Bearden Branch Library celebrated Tennessee women who changed history. The compilation of their stories, “Tennessee Women of Vision and Courage,” was published with the next generation of women leaders in mind. Second District County Commissioner Amy Broyles was inspired to organize the book reading after meeting editors Charlotte Crawford and Ruth Johnson Smiley in Nashville. She was further inspired to use discretionary funds to purchase copies of the book for “Tennessee Women of Vision and Courage” authors Judy Arnold, Pam Strickland, Patricia Hope and Hannah Seay To page A-3 and editor Ruth Smiley sign a book for state Rep.
