Vendors that want to reserve the same space(s) for JUNE 2nd, 2018 may do so from 10am - 12noon in the dining room on the day of the flea market or by calling 717-582-2288 or 717-275-4889 up to one week following the September 9th event. If you choose to rent other spaces call after September 18, 2017. Individuals wishing to reserve space may call in advance of the flyer being mailed out for the upcoming event.

RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1. All vendors must clean up their spaces before leaving the property, take all boxes and trash with you.

Anyone leaving these items behind will not be permitted to rent space at future events.

2. All Food & Beverage sales are reserved by the sponsor, the only type of food items permitted to be sold by vendors will be produce items. NO BAKED ITEMS PERMITTED. 3. No Alchoholic Beverages are permitted on the property.

4. Not responsible for accidents or injury. Overnight security is not provided by the sponsor 5. Vendors are responsible to collect and report PA Sales tax.

6. GUN SALES ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT.

Before we started the Shopper’s Remedy and the Pennsulvania Musician Magazine we were on welfare. I was a stay at home mom and Whitey was working various sales jobs to try to make ends meet. At one time we were both working (I was working 2 minimum pay jobs and he was selling cars) and we made less money than we got from welfare. It was crazy. I was praying for our perfect job for perfect pay when a friend who was a publisher told Whitey he needed to publish a paper and sell advertising.

He went to the library and did some research and then he came up with the idea to provide a guide for Musicians to use to promote themselves and their music thus began the Pennsylvania Musician Magazine in 1982. In 1986 he felt the area needed their own Shopper so we began The Shopper’s Remedy.

We have been blessed but it’s not easy being in business for yourself as many can attest to but it is nice to have your own business. I learned a long time ago that God is my CEO and the head of my business. Everyday we have an early morning meeting and He directs me and helps me start a fresh and anew everyday letting todays own problems be sufficient for the day (Matthew 6:34) One of the many things I have learned on my spiritual journey and being in business, is the importance of reading the Word of God (the Bible). Not to depend on just church or Pastors, or teachers but to read it for my own edification and to draw closer to Him each day through The Word. They are after all His Words that He has given to men for thousands of years to be passed on to us and to our children and their children. As I read some scriptures seem to pierce me with meaning and to stand out to me and I am always amazed at the revelations I receive from the Holy Spirit. One such scripture the other day was Psalm 119: 50 “This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your Word has given me life.” ­­—NKJV. It occurred to me that each day begins anew because of God’s love and because of who He is and because of His promises that He gives to each one of us.I am so thankful for those promises and continue to strive to BELIEVE those promises and to accept them for my life.
