Jesus Is The Reason For The Season and So Much More Jesus is the reason for the season of Christmas. A time of giving and sharing what we have with others. The truth is that God did not send His only begotten Son to teach us to celebrate one day of love but to expereince unconditional love every day of our lives and to save us from the ways of Satan and the world so that we might be reconciled to God the Father so that we could live a better life here on the face of the earth and then obtain eternal life, ruling and reigning with Jesus throughout the heavens. As sin entered the earth through one man, Adam, God brought reconciliation to Him through one man, Jesus Christ. He bore the sins of all the earth so that we could be set free and live a life of peace in our hearts and souls. To have the peace of God and to enter into His rest is a wonderful gift that God gives to each of us freely. All we have to do is ask Jesus to help us, to admit that we are full of sin and we need help. That we can’t do it on our own. He is just waiting for us to ask for help. When you do finally come to the end of yourself and call out to Him, He hears, He fills you with His Holy Spirit power of light and love and releases the stress of life and you begin a “Spiritual Journey” that will last until we see Him face to face. As the stress of the holidays come upon us and as we rush around trying to have the “perfect Christmas” according to the world’s standard, I pray that you would put the hustle and bustle aside and take the time to read The Gospel According to John in the Bible, the word of God, and find rest and peace for your soul and experience the unconditional love of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior and receive the best gift of all, Eternal life with God, the Father, the Holy One of Israel.
