Date of Events: October 4-7, 2012 Location: Christian Retreat Center, East Waterford, PA 17021 ~ (717)734Ever had a dream and really wished it would happen? Well several years ago, some folks from the village of East Waterford talked about how many years ago a revival meeting was held in the village’s fire house and caused a big time change for those in the area that attended. As you guessed, the question was asked- could it happen again? With lots of prayer and talking to others it gained attention and this past spring the idea took off in a big way. Several local folks gave contributions that helped put the event into motion. Soon the group realized their prayers were being answered in ways they could not explain, other than to say the Lord is making it happen for everyone in this area. Thus the name was given “ Tuscarora Valley Revival 2012”. It will be held October 4-7th at the Christian Retreat Center, East Waterford, Pa. The event was developed to be totally run by folks from the area with the vision of helping families and giving hope for the future of everyone. Thus the moto – “Today’s FamilyTomorrow’s Hope”. Have you noticed with your own family how things are not what they use to be? Remember how you use to visit with family and friends numerous times in the summer time? Remember how it was expected you go to family reunions every year? This event is designed to strengthen your hope again for a future with true promise. Pastor Casey Hostler will take time to talk with young adults on topics that relate to their age. Such topics as love, marriage, being single, and how be a Christian will be a part of Casey’s presentation. Child Evangelism Fellowship will also be at the event to keep all the young kids entertained and help them to also learn about the importance at young age saying prayers, and believing in God. Jeremy Kerstetter will be taking all the excitement teens have and allow them to learn more about the values they have and how God can give them direction and meaning in life.
