SHPE-USF has done an outstanding job with chapter development and increasing membership by 67% for the month of January, they have hosted many events in a single week that have attracted numerous undergraduate members as well as graduate members. Some of these events have incorporated other engineering organizations, such as Theta Tau, to allow its members to expand their network, to showcase the organization, and to motivate students to join the SHPE Familia. They will also be hosting an info session on February 15th where a representative from the Mosaic Company will be present, giving its members an opportunity to network. Welcome to our SHPE FAMILIA! Palm Beach State College Region seven is proud to announce the establishment of a new SHPE chapter at Palm Beach State College! SHPE-PBSC have been a well organized and active club even before they became an official SHPE chapter, thanks to the leadership of Eman Shreteh who has taken SHPEPBSC to a whole new level, SHPE-PBSC shows potential to be a strong chapter as they have already demonstrated great involvement with the student members and community. SHPE-PBSC, being such a young chapter, has already organized amazing events; some of them include: volunteering events, informational meetings, and various competitions such as newspaper bridges, egg drop projects, NASA competition, and pendulum designs. These competitions have created strong bonds within the members and have helped them create a SHPE-PBSC familia of their own. These events have shown to be prominent within the region, it is for that reason we are confident that SHPE-PBSC will achieve their set goals for this semester. We wish SHPEPBSC the best of luck and congratulate them for doing such a great job!

Santa Fe College Region seven would like to welcome SHPE Santa Fe College as a newly established chapter! Through hard work and dedication, SHPE-SFC has been very active even though it was unofficially established, taking initiatives to assert themselves within their campus. SHPE-SFC has had presence in several regional events such as the North Florida SubRegional Retreat and the Georgia Sub-Regional Retreat in which they have been able to network with their fellow sharks and gain plenty of knowledge in regards to developing their own chapter. SHPE-SFC has made an incredible effort on campus to reach out to members who will soon be the new leaders for the upcoming year, attracting several members that have truly shown dedication to the chapter. We highly appreciate the hard work of SHPE-SFC's leadership whose determination has taken them to newer heights and we would like to congratulate SHPE-SFC again on their accomplishments. Con la Region 7, nadie se mete!
