Obituary He is my light, my strength my song This cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm Til he returns or calls me home; No guilt in life no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me.

Life is a song worth singing and the song of Julie Jeanette began on July 27th 1961. Julie was the third child born to the late Jenetta Janet Taylor and Franklin Farrington Julie was constantly showered with attention and became affectingly known as Jewels. Jewels, as she was affectionately called, grew up with her mother through Rolle Avenue off Mackey Street for the most part. She also lived in Naranja Florida with her Mother’s Relatives, Gerald and Mildred Finley where she completed all of her formal years of education. Julie received her early education at the Naranja Elementary School in Miami-Dade Florida, Redland Junior High School and graduated from the South Dade Senior High School, Miami Florida. Julie could accomplish anything she set her mind to do. She was a very industrious young lady. Upon returning to the Bahamas, she joined Sandilands Rehabilitation Center as an Auxiliary Nurse. In her quest for more she moved to the Holiday Inn Hotel where she worked in the Laundry and as an Operator (PBX Department). After the merger with Atlantis, she continued as an Operator until 2009. She was nominated for Employee of the Year on two occasions after winning Employee of the Year in her department. She loved her job and was very dedicated to the task given to her. On September 4th 2018, Julie was admitted into hospital after complaining of chest pains. She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) until the evening of Thursday, September 20th when she slipped from time to eternity. Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving every day; Just one glimpse of Him in glory Will the toils of life repay.

Refrain: When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!

Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we’ll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open; We shall tread the streets of gold.

While we walk the pilgrim pathway, Clouds will overspread the sky; But when trav’ling days are over, Not a shadow, not a sigh. Condolences | Mrs. Ruth Neily Former Manager Atlantis

And can it be that I should gain An int’rest in the Savior’s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain— For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

Long my imprisoned spirit lay, Fast bound in sin and nature’s night; Thine eye diffused a quick’ning ray— I woke, the dungeon flamed with light; My chains fell off, my heart was free, I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.

Refrain: Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? And clothed in righteousness divine, ’Tis myst’ry all: th’ Immortal dies: Who can explore His strange design? In vain the firstborn seraph tries To sound the depths of love divine. ’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore, Let angel minds inquire no more.

No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in Him, is mine; Alive in Him, my living Head, Bold I approach th’ eternal throne, And claim the crown, through Christ my own. He left His Father’s throne above— So free, so infinite His grace— Emptied Himself of all but love, And bled for Adam’s helpless race ’Tis mercy all, immense and free, For, O my God, it found out me

Selection | Voice of Deliverance Mass Choir Eulogy | Chief Apostle Dr. Leon Wallace General Overseer Voice of Deliverance Ministries International Prayer for the Family | Pastor Dr. Sharon Rolle Transformation Ministries International Recessional | Marching to Zion Come, we that love the Lord, And let our joys be known; Join in a song with sweet accord, And thus surround the throne.

Let those refuse to sing, Who never knew our God; But children of the heav’nly King May speak their joys abroad.

Refrain: We’re marching to Zion, Beautiful, beautiful Zion; We’re marching upward to Zion, The beautiful city of God.

The men of grace have found Glory begun below; Celestial fruits on earthly ground From faith and hope may grow.

The sorrows of the mind Be banished from the place; Religion never was designed To make our pleasures less.

Graveside Hymns FARTHER ALONG Tempted and tried, we’re oft made to wonder Why it should be thus all the day long, While there are others living about us, Never molested, though in the wrong. (Chorus) Farther along we’ll know all about it, Farther along we’ll understand why; Cheer up my brother, live in the sunshine, We’ll understand it all by and by. When death has come and taken our loved ones, It leaves our home so lonely and drear, Then do we wonder why others prosper Living so wicked year after year. Faithful til death, said our loving Master A few more days to labor and wait, Toils of the road will then seem as nothing As we sweep through the beautiful gate. When we see Jesus, coming in glory, When He comes from His home in the sky, Then we shall meet Him in that bright mansion, We’ll understand it all by and by.

GLAD REUNION DAY There will be a happy meeting in heaven I know When we see the many loved ones we’ve known here below. Gather on the blessed hilltops with hearts all aglow. That will be a glad reunion day. (Chorus) Glad day, a wonderful day, Glad day, a glorious day; There with all the holy angels and loved ones to stay, That will be a glad reunion day. There within the holy city we’ll sing and rejoice, Praising Christ the blessed Saviour with heart and with voice. Tell him how we came to love Him and make Him our choice. That will be a glad reunion day. When we live a million years in that wonderful place Basking in the love of Jesus, beholding His face. It will seem but just a moment of praising His grace. That will be glad reunion day.

IT’S ALRIGHT NOW There was a time I travelled a lonely sinful road; Beneath a heavy burden bending low; But now all things are different, since Jesus took my load It’s alright now, I’m His I know. (Chorus) It’s alright now, for I am in my Saviour’s care It’s alright now; my Saviour hears and answers prayer He’ll walk with me, (He’ll walk beside me) Till I climb the heavenly stair, And everything (And everything is alright now) A’ down a lonely pathway, without a friend to guide, I walked in sin and sorrow all alone ‘Till Jesus came and found me, and drew me to His side; It’s alright now, for I’m His own. No more in sin I wander, no more in darkness roam The Lord has placed my feet on higher ground; Each day new heights I’m gaining, my soul is nearing home, It’s alright now, I’m heaven bound.

WHEN PEACE LIKE A RIVER When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. (Chorus) It is well, it is well, With my soul, with my soul, It is well; it is well, with my soul. Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, let this blest assurance control that Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed His own blood for my soul. My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought! My sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll; the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend Even so, it is well with my soul

A Tribute to Our Gem!

Mommy, where do we start? There are so many aspects of your life that we can reflect upon. Your smile, your beauty, your unconditional love for us was so amazing. You were the wind beneath our wings and you never allowed any one to harm us if you were around. You always encouraged us to do our best and reminded us that no one was better than us. We’ve had unforgettable moments with you that has created a life time of memories that will always accompany us. Even though you didn’t live long enough to see your first grandchild we are certain that you will see everything from your seat in heavens balcony. Our love for you will never die, and no one will ever take your place. We are grateful for the commitment and sacrifices you made for us without ever requiring anything in return. As we face the reality that you are no longer with us we pledge to honor your final request of living as one as brothers and helping each other as we face life’s challenges. TO MY SISTER I find it very hard to believe that you are gone. I keep telling myself every day that this is a dream, this is not real. I miss all the little ways you always showed you cared, the wonderful moments we shared and the many telephone calls we’ve had. Whenever I would call you, you always answered by saying “hey” and then you would say “every time we talk you always eating” and then you would list of several things you felt like eating. You were my trusted friend and confidante. I looked at your smiling face in all of our family photographs and sweet memories filled my mind, memories that I know will last a lifetime. Even though I mourn because you are gone, those memories will bring comfort to my heart and a smile to my face. My dear sister Julie I miss you so much already but I know you’re in a better place, a place where no more pain or sickness can ravage your body. Sleep on Julie take your rest. I love you but Jesus loves you best. Keeping you forever in my heart! Your sister Paulette “242”!

REMEMBERING OUR AUNT JULIE Merriment. The very first word that comes to mind when reminiscing on our Aunt Julie. She was the person to see when you found yourself burdened with a heavy yoke or faced with a bad case of the down syndrome. She was that person to give you facts to support arguments of importance. She was one of the strongest individuals we have ever known. Aunt Julie you can only be described by the way your love impacted all of us. A genuine woman, clothed with a spirit of Excellency, and pure hearted soul. Thinking back now we really must say we feel lucky and privileged to have known “Aunt Julie” to this day. For in our life, you have played a special part. We are all desirous to be in the presence of “Aunt Julie”, again. We would love to look out at these stars of God’s heaven and for each one say why we love you but we would run out of stars before we could finish expressing the words we have to describe “Aunt Julie”. Although she has gone we will always be together, and her spirit will live on with each one of us forever. Dear God, if it’s not too much to fuss take extra special care of our “Aunt Julie” as she is dear to us. We want to thank God for gift of your life and the unique way you were an expression of his love and steadfastness in good works. From All Your Nieces & Nephews
