Obituary
“Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.” – Psalm 91:14
EARLY LIFE
On July 7, 1943, Rose Francina Smith, named for her exceptional beauty, was born in Nassau, the Bahamas to the late Howard Granville and Elizabeth “Daisy” Smith of Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera. She was the last of nine siblings. A baby sister to Mae Patton (deceased), Olga Lee (deceased), Marguerita Moss (deceased), Charles R. Smith (deceased), Thelma (deceased), Granville (deceased), Olive (deceased), and Hillarina Thompson. As a young girl, Rose was fond of reporting back to her parents on the activities of her siblings. The Smith household was very strict and steeped in religion. Her mother, Elizabeth, was a mid-wife and Deaconess, while her father was a renowned surrey driver, selected to drive Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to the Bahamas in 1966 - A great source of pride for the entire family. Rose grew up in the Church of God of Prophecy on East Street where her family played an instrumental role in the life of the church.
EDUCATION
Rose began her early education at Our Lady’s Catholic School and later Xavier’s Lower School. In 1994, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sojourner Douglass College in Baltimore, Maryland.
CAREER
Rose’s illustrious career began as a Secretary in one of the most renowned places in the country - Government House. Following a two-year tenure in the Office of then Governor General, His Excellency Sir Ralph Grey, her
talents and skills were recognized, and she was personally recruited to ZNS by then General Manager, the late Mr. H.R. “Rusty” Bethel, as his Confidential Secretary on October 1, 1968. She would eventually move on to serve in this position to another General Manager, the late Mr. Walter N. Wisdom. Rose’s career at ZNS was catapulted to the position of Secretary to the Board of Directors/Special Executive Assistant to the Chairman, and subsequently to Human Resource Manager. She would later fulfill her tenure as Assistant General Manager/Human Resources. Rose’s career at ZNS would span nearly 40 years. As one colleague so eloquently put it, Rose was among a select few who were the “…real glue that held ZNS together.” Rose dedicated her entire professional adult life to ZNS, providing exceptional excellence and professionalism to all that she did, and would set high goals and priorities for herself. As a full-time employee at ZNS, Rose would strive to add to her credentials by completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business at Sojourner Douglass College – all the while fulfilling her life as a loving wife and raising 5 children.
FAMILY LIFE
In 1960, Rose would meet the love of her life, Bursell R. Bradshaw Sr. On first seeing her, he exclaimed that heaven must be missing an angel! Their courtship lasted 2 years and they were married in 1962. Shortly thereafter, their first child, Bursell Jr. (deceased) was born. Next came Sheldon (deceased), Donyale, Natalia, and Nadia. Rose was a loving and dedicated mother who expertly balanced the demands of a career woman, wife and mother. She also cherished time with her family and instilled very strong values in them. When her grandchildren, K’Donya, Tiana, Sheldon, Jaron and Joshua
came along, she showered them with the same love and affection. She aslo maintained a good relationship with all of her siblings and was especially close to her sister, Hillarina.
CHURCH LIFE
Rose was a consummate professional, and a devout woman of God, with an unwavering commitment to her faith. She grew up in the Church of God of Prophecy on East Street. She later became a dedicated member of Calvary Bible Church. While there, she served on the Decorating Committee where she showcased her decorating talents. She was also a member of the Wednesday Women’s Bible Study Group. One of her favorite scriptures was, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 KJV. “We can complain because rose bushes have thorns or rejoice because thorns have roses.” -Alphonse Karr Rose had a heart of gold. She loved helping and counseling others. She always put family first and led by an example of high standards. Always advising that the sky is the limit – and you could even go beyond that. She was a charitable giver, and you just couldn’t beat Rose at giving. She would shower you with gifts, and always pick out the perfect greeting card that you would think was written specifically for you. Rose’s presence will truly be missed. On January 20, 2021, the angels of God, in the twinkling of an eye, took you from this earthly life to forever be with your Lord and Savior. And though we were all shocked and saddened by your sudden departure, God had a master plan that is now complete. We love you deeply and will forever cherish the memories that we shared. May your soul rest in peace.

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought! My sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
(Chorus) It is well, it is well, With my soul, with my soul, It is well; it is well, with my soul.
And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll; the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend Even so, it is well with my soul

BENEDICTION
My Sophisticated Lady
A TRIBUTE TO MY WIFE “The very thought of you makes my heart sing Like an April breeze on the wings of spring And you appear in all your splendor My one and only love.” -John Coltrane
DEAREST ROSE, I am going to miss your kindheartedness. You always looked out for those less fortunate. Your loving kindness always extended to family. There was nothing that you would not do for your children And throughout our marriage, you’ve taken on many roles of love. You’ve been my Sugar Plum; my nurse; my doctor, my lawyer, and my caretaker. This love and kindness even overflowed to friends. If you deemed someone a friend, they became family. One of your unforgettable attributes was your elegance, and the wonderful way in which you always presented your best self. I will miss the intimacy of our conversations. And I am so saddened that my angel eyes ”..aint here.” Love, Brad
TRIBUTE TO MOMMY OUR SUPERWOMAN “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” -Matthew 6:33 Mommy, where do I begin? I would begin this scripture, because it was one of your favorite and most quoted scripture verses to us! It was one that we may have even taken for granted over the years, until we truly learned the value and impact of these powerful words! Seek ye FIRST!! For what are we to expect if we DO NOT??? If I have learned nothing else in life, it is that God has a way of preparing us for challenges. We WILL go through trials, but we must choose HIS will over our own. We must always TRUST that God has a plan, and He has a reason for allowing things to happen. BUT we must continue to commit to doing His will, and TRUSTING IN HIM!! Mommy, these words have been your mantra to us for much of our lives. Just a little over a year ago, you and dad left us to return to Nassau after spending 9 of the most incredible and memorable months in Virginia! Incredible, not so much in the dazzling exciting kind of way – but incredible because of the many miraculous moments that we experienced and endured while you were here.
From the time the plane hit the ground, there was challenge after challenge – but – through it all, we persevered, endured, and leaned on the everlasting arms of God. The trip was one of my most memorable, because we spent a great deal of quality time together. Time together, which, after being away from home for so long – means nothing if we don’t cherish every moment of it. Throughout our lives you and dad gave us many gifts. You gave us the best of the best; you challenged us; you inspired us; provided for us; scolded us when necessary. BUT, among the greatest gifts that we could ever have received from you is the precious gift of TIME!! You took the time to make us warm milk right before bed; you took the time to teach us valuable lessons – and by the way, you always led by example; you taught us the important values of integrity; respect for others and ourselves; having pride and confidence in ALL that we do. You showed us strength; resilience; perseverance; YOU taught us that charity begins at home and ends abroad. Little did we know or consider at such a young age, was that those home cooked meals that you prepared, and the clothes that we outgrew and passed along to those less fortunate; the way you treated EVERYONE with the same level of decency, respect and courtesy – would forever shape our thinking and our value system! For this I say, THANK YOU!! MOM, you were so many things, to so many people. You gave and gave, and pushed and pushed, and loved and loved…. WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL! Your constant words of affirmation and wisdom have now become your legacy, and shall forever remain with us - guiding us and comforting us! You were my biggest cheerleader; fiercest defender and staunchest confidant! You were a Pillar of strength; proud, but never boastful; a woman of distinction; a Beacon of light; and a devoted and committed mother, with a FAITH that was steadfast and immovable! And now – your strength gives me strength; your light shines brightly around us. Your spirit is with us. Your love is with us! And for this we are forever grateful. So, take your rightful resting place. Dance with the angels like Aunt Ruth, Cousin Annie, Aunt Lee, Uncle Bubba and Aunt Juletta – all of the other siblings and angels who have gone on before, and SING HALLELUJAH HE IS LORD!! LOVE and KISSES, Natalia
IF ROSES GROW IN HEAVEN If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away. Mom, your death surely was and still is a “bitter pill” to swallow!! God blessed our family with you for a while, but oh how I wish it was a little longer. You were my pillar of strength, my nurse, my supporter and my “standing in the gap” prayer warrior. A beautiful Rose has bee plucked from our midst and now planted in God’s heavenly garden. Take your sweet rest Mom. Love, Don
Missing You Mom There are no words to tell you mom, what losing you has meant. But now each day brings memories of happy years we’ve spent. You’d want me to smile again, so that’s just what I’ll do, every time I reminisce with loving thoughts of you. You’re with me when each new day dawns and when we say goodnight. My guardian angel here on earth and heaven’s shining light. Love, Nadia
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. -JOSHUA 1:8 Dear Gramma, I love you with all of my heart and soul and I am going to miss reading scripture to you and spending time with you. You will always be in heart! I love you. Your grandson, Joshua
Dear Grammy, You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our heart. We may not be able to see your face, but we will always see your sweet smile. We are never ready to say goodbye forever even though we know it is a part of life. This day our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special, but as we mourn your death, we also celebrate your life. Sleep in peace grammy we love you! K’Donya(Trivano), Tiana, Sheldon and Jaron.
TRIBUTE FROM HILLARINA THOMPSON – SISTER White roses, yellow roses, red roses. Then there was my sister, Rose. Not perfect, as she had flaws like all of us, but beautiful in her own special way. A lady – elegant and graceful, generous and caring, loving and compassionate. Always with an encouraging word. She was my sister, friend, confidant, and prayer partner. Whenever there was a problem, we called on each other. In sad times we cried and prayed together. In happy times we would have a hearty laugh together. Rose, at first there were seven of us. The years went by, we grew older, then there were five of us. We travelled and enjoyed some wonderful time. Then there were three of us until the Lord called our one and only brother, Charles home to glory in 2018. This left just the two of us. I still can’t believe it’s only me now. I know in my heart you’re in a far better place, as you lived life, daily saying, you will make it through by His grace. Regardless of the many trials, you never gave up. As you knew from where your strength and help came, and He always brought you through. You my dear sister, did your very best. You were a loving, dedicated wife and caregiver, mother, sister, friend, aunt and co-worker. You were also an employee par excellence, as you always wanted everything done to perfection. So with a very heavy heart, I must say “good-bye” my dear. I loved you, but God loved you best. Now sleep on and take your rest. Forever in the Lord. Love, Hillie
I HAVE ONLY WRITTEN 2 TRIBUTES IN MY ENTIRE LIFE And this by far surpasses the feeling of pain I feel To have to write on behalf of someone so very special to me. Rose, was one of my mother’s closest cousins and one of my nearest and dearest cousins. She was like a big sister that I didn’t have. Her love was soft, her love was genuine and her love was constant. Rose was a confidant who always had a word to lift your spirits. Rose, taught by example how to be a wife with unconditional love. Rose loved her family and we loved her. Last week Wednesday was one of the hardest days next to my mother and Grandmother’s deaths that hurt me to the heart. She has gone on but the love I have for her will live on in my heart unti! we reunite in heaven. I know Andrea is sooo happy to see you. Rose I will always love you Your dearest cousin, Ricky
OH MY AUNT ROSE WHERE DO I BEGIN? You were my mother’s first cousin and a part of my life from its inception. Whatever was important to me you were there. Your presence to special events was always, always accompanied by a sealed envelope with the appropriate name of the receiver perfectly penned in your distinctive handwriting and a card bearing your usual gift of love on the inside. At a very difficult time in my life you were my go to, my prayer warrior and my confidant. I will miss your calls just to say I love you and I’m praying for all of you. You slipped away quietly and received your wings. We weren’t ready to lose you but God was ready to receive you. Rest easy Aunt Rose , tell my mother, my grammie, and all of our family members hello. I know they all smiled as they greeted you at Heaven’s gate. We will always love you and miss you but truly The Master loves you best. Rest in peace beautiful angel. Love, Hope Shelly-Ann
FROM: PASTOR ARLY PIERRE-LOUIS, MOUNT OLIVE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES RICHMOND VIRGINIA Date: Monday, January 25, 2021 Re: Mrs. Rose Francina Bradshaw #1) Mrs. Bradshaw demonstrated an intimate familiarity with God’s Word. “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) She revealed the godly woman in her when her thoughts, words, and advice were based on the Bible and not her opinion. She was not throwing out scriptures to show how knowledgeable and spiritual she was, but rather her key instinct was balancing faith and actions on the word of God. #2) Mrs. Bradshaw resonated a calm and quietness of spirit. “Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” (1 Peter 3:4) Mrs. Bradshaw did not frantically wring her hands in the valleys of the unexpected. As a godly woman she had the inner peace of the Holy Spirit to comfort, guide, and teach her when everything seemed out of control. She learned to lay her concerns at the foot of the cross and left them there. #3) Mrs. Bradshaw was grounded in courage and strength. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) As our culture tumbles down the slippery slope of worldliness and immorality, Mrs. Bradshaw was confident in her Sovereign God to make all things work together for good. (Romans 8:28) Mrs. Bradshaw would refuse to let fear invade her thoughts or feelings by constantly reminding herself of God’s promise to never leave you. #4) Mrs. Bradshaw was relentless in prayer and intercession. “Pray continually.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) We need godly women to fervently grab hold of Jesus just like the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:2128 and refuse to let circumstances dictate the final outcome over faith. As a godly woman, Mrs. Bradshaw never gave up praying for the hardest hearts, the deepest needs, or the highest mountain tops. #5) Mrs. Bradshaw was generous in resources. “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion…” (2 Corinthians 9:11) With the help of the Holy Spirit, keep in step with the godly woman in you. As a godly woman, Mrs. Bradshaw gave time, energy, gifts, and finances in days of feasting or famine. She learned to resist the fear of holding back because of her strong confidence in God to meet her needs according to His riches in glory and to grant all your desires according to His will. #6) Mrs. Bradshaw imparted wise advice. “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” (Proverbs 31:26) Finally, Mrs. Bradshaw advice was punctuated with practical applications of truth drawn from the Bible. Your firm, but gentle words of wisdom would lead many women to the Lord seeking answers for the perplexities of life. Mrs. Bradshaw will be truly missed and may her soul rest in peace!
Today we bid an earthly farewell to a rare and beautiful gem. A gentle, quiet, graceful and elegant woman of honour; who listened more than she spoke, and encouraged rather than complain. Who chose to build up rather than tear down and was committed to serving her family and her God. As we say goodbye, we will forever remember and be inspired by her spirit of loyalty, humility, creativity and resilience. We pray that God’s peace will remain with her husband, our dear friend, Bursel and the entire Bradshaw family. Clinton and Naomi Crawford

e could just imagine that Rose would have by now adorned the gates of heaven with over three hundred species of the woody perennial flowering plant of the genus Rosa, as she was a gifted decorator, lending her talents to the Women’s Ministry of Calvary Bible Church. She was an original member of Willing Hearts & Hands Social Team, blessing every buffet table with the royal Rose touch; her centerpieces were masterpieces and the entire Earl Weech Auditorium radiated with her flamboyance. Rose was seasoned in the art of hospitality. She was generous with her things, her time and her talents; happily serving her church family, visiting missionaries and guests, with the spirit of excellence. Rose was dignified, always very well attired in the most blooming colors. Like they say, “she was always put together.” In the same manner that she took care of herself, this high standard was extended to everything that she did. A reliable lady, she was, who loved her LORD and served Him joyfully. Despite all that Rose endured throughout her sojourn, she always testified to the goodness of her God. Rose “work(ed) heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,” as enunciated in Colossians 3: 23. This well-spoken Rose has been picked and the Wordsmith-ofWordsmiths, has whispered, “well done…” We, the Women’s Ministry, are missing our dear Rose already. With weighted hearts we say to Rose’s beloved family, mourn as you wish, for as long as you wish, because the joy of the Triune God always comes in the morning. Women’s Ministry of Calvary Bible Church
A TRIBUTE TO OUR DEAR SISTER ROSE AND A PRAYER FOR BROTHER BURSELL “TING -A- LING” BRADSHAW AND THE FAMILY Our Rose would forever remind us of the immortal saying “ How she would be sweet whatever the time or the circumstances.” As a product of an industrious and well loved and respected family, she was equally blessed with the kind of physical attraction and social graces that endeared her to everybody she met . Such traits and qualities enhanced her professional career in her positions at staton ZNS where she performed with distinction and won the support and praise of her many colleagues. In all of her endeavours, in personal, professional, social or a community capacity, she was truly representative of our country’s virtues and values of honesty, decency, respect and patriotism...and to her immediate, extended and neighborhood family she leaves a legacy of love, togetherness and kindness which will abide and avail and remain in their hearts and minds forever....as a loving devoted wife, mother, sibling and friend....and which defined her whole being and essence throughout her life. Yes Bursell!! your beautiful Rose has been cut and taken from the garden....and indeed the home and family, but you will always hear her voice sometimes low and deep or soft and loud but always sweet and clear to let you know and feel her love for you and the family.... that she will always be near and dear and there to guide and comfort you and to always be at your side until the day, with God’s love for you which will always abide, he calls you to come and be with me....and in heavenly love so wide we shall be together again, eternally side by side never more to separate, part again or sadly divide. Your one and only beautiful, royally radiant Rose.... lovable child of the Tarpum Bay Eleuthera soil and daughter of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Rest In Peace Janeen and Charles McCartney
TRIBUTE TO MY FRIEND – ROSE How can I say goodbye to someone who was my friend for over sixty years; Rose, it is with the joy and knowledge that we will never be apart, because your spirit will always be with me, your husband, children, grandchildren, sister, family, and friends, including our Xavier’s Lower School classmates: Judy Armaly, Emeline Murray and Brenda Davis. Boy did we have a good time going to Xavier’s Lower School, sometimes in your father’s horse and carriage. Later, we watched our children growing up together just as we did creating more precious memories. You are undeniably unforgettable, and I will always cherish the times we shared. I shall always miss you my dear friend. You made me laugh, and you were always there to help me figure things out, listen to me when I was upset, and cheer me up when I was down. You remained strong and steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord, no matter the trials and tribulations life threw your way, an example we should all seek to exemplify. Truly a beautiful ROSE! How can I say goodbye when you never left, but only moved on to a blessed rest? So sleep on my friend, take your rest. We love you but God loves you best. Maria Symonette
REMEMBERING MY FRIEND ROSE We are often told that in life we will meet many people. They all come for a season and yes, they call come for a reason. Some come and we wish they would not stay long and then others come and we hope they would stay a while. Rose was one you would want to stay a while. When I met Rose, I had no idea who she was then, as all I knew was, Brad played the drums and loved softball and Rose was always well dressed and had her hair fixed like a queen and his number one fan. Then, one day, “life happened”, my phone ran and it was Rose on the line. She simply said, “I need you to pray with me”. We did that day, and life as we knew it, was never the same. Our friendship was forged in difficult times, grew through some rough seas and today there was not much that we did not share, pray about, cry over, laugh about and Rose loved to laugh. There was a period of time when Rose thought that life troubles seemed to be at every turn, every corner and with every breath. But each time she got to rock bottom, she would say, “Jeff, I have to hold on, because God is faithful”. And she would find strength to keep trusting and pressing on. If Rose were a boxer, we would say about her that; she could take a punch on the chin and still stand! Our times in Small Group were always special, especially afterward when she would call and ask for further explanation of the passage we studied. She was the pillar of strength for her family, often taking on burdens that most would simply turn away from, that’s just how she was. She was determined, some would say stubborn at times, but that’s how she was. When she was convinced about something, that was it!! Rose cared about her Brad and would often say that, Brad only had one Rose and that was her so she would always be there for him. Rose loved to see my garden and would often speak about coming to sit in the shade of the trees just to hang out. In fact, the week Rose went home to be with the Lord was the week she was to come pick up her Papayas that I was saving for her and Brad. Well, I guess now, she is having Papaya with her Lord now. Rose left her imprint on our lives and we will miss her smile, her encouragement and her passion for life. Sleep on my Friend, until we meet again, Pastor Jeff, Sonia and Jeffrey Jr. Beckles
“SADLY MISSED ALONG LIFE’S WAY, QUIETLY REMEMBERED EVERY DAY...” “Lady”- As I would call you, and that you truly were. We first met when I joined ZNS in 2002. Right away we became inseparable. Thereafter your retirement, we continued to remain close until your untimely demise, for which still seems so unreal to me. I was your go to person, because you knew that whatever you ask of me and whenever you needed me, I was always there.I miss our calls, and when you got whats app I teased you about it, I miss those messages. Your last voice note to me, you ended by saying “it’s been a pleasure knowing you, and thank you for your love, help, support and everything else”. “Her rose was as beautiful as her heart. The thorns were sharper than she knew. But when she bloomed her beauty awakened the whole world”. Words cannot express my love, gratitude and appreciation for you. Forever in my heart, love you ALWAYS. Meshell Dean (ZNS Colleague and friend)
It is a privilege for us to make this tribute on behalf of our dear friend Rose. She along with her husband Bursell have been good friends to us through the good times and the not so good times.. Rose was a member of our first mini church group where she gave of her many talents.when she was given the name Rose by her parents we do believe that that was a God sent name because to us and many others she was indeed a Rose. You have lost a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt and even a neighbor but we have lost a very dear and precious friend. We are confident upon the Word of God that she is at home with the Lord. We will miss you Rose but looking forward to seeing you “ “In The Morning” Roland and Peggy Bryan
TRIBUTE TO MRS. ROSE FRANCINA BRADSHAW FROM FORMER AND PRESENT STAFF OF ZNS From the establishment of the Broadcasting Corporation in 1937, there have been many broadcasters, news reporters, technicians and engineers who called ZNS their home away from home. But the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas could not be the beacon of light it was without the hard work and dedication of outstanding individuals likeRose Bradshaw. She was the glue that held the corporation together, never looking or seeking the limelight. Her knowledge of how the corporation functioned saved many catastrophic situations from occurring. Ms. Brad, as she was affectionately called, was complete in every detail. Extremely skilled and accomplished in the highest degree, she inspired others to emulate her with her soft spoken but firm demeanor. Young male and female employees took pride in her leadership and never hesitated to sit in her office when the occasion avail itself to discuss matters of human resources concerns. Matter of fact, whenever you walked past the Human Resources office of Rose Bradshaw, you had to pause and peep inside. Hers was the most decorative office in the executive wing. There were flowers, pictures, stuffed animals, cards, candies and vases from thankful employees over the years. If you were there for disciplinary matters, her office had a relaxing effect on your psyche, no matter how much trouble you were in. She always offered you a warm welcome with a smile.
Ms. Brad was always impeccably dressed to the nines, her hair neatly coiffed, thanks to her stylist Rudolph ‘Singhy’ Minnis, she had a remarkable memory and could recall personal details you would have otherwise forgotten as she flashed that infectious smile. That gracious manner will be sorely missed. But it is hoped that her long standing tradition of decorating the exterior of her home and the front garden of her yard on Market street at Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter in particular will continue. It is also hoped that more deserving persons behind the scene in administration, production and programming would receive their flowers while they are living, so they can share in a similar proverbial office garden which was once home to Rose Francina Bradshaw. Heartfelt condolences extended to Mr. Bursell Bradshaw, his daughters Donyale Bradshaw, Natalia Bradshaw-Parson and Nadia Bradshaw and family, on the passing of an extraordinary lady of the highest order Mrs. Rose Francina Bradshaw. May the angels lead her into Paradise and may her soul find rest eternal.
Message of Gratitude
Every so often, and if we’re lucky, in our lifetime, there comes along persons whose contributions to humanity sets new standards of excellence, honor and truth. Each of us present today can attest that Rose Bradshaw was certainly one of those persons. Her dedication to her family, career and community served as a beacon of light that sometimes opened us up to ourselves and other times taught us things we may not have known; things we often used to enrich our own lives. Today as we say goodbye to the woman you call Rose and the woman we call wife, mother, grammy, sister and friend, we do so with the mixed emotions of sadness in saying goodbye, and gratidude for being born in a lifetime to experience the light that was Rose Bradshaw. These past few days have been incredibly difficult for us, but we have been comforted and strengthened by the immense outpouring of love and support from all those impacted by Rose’s life. We are indeed grateful for who you are and what you have given. As we move from this place, we ask that you continue to perpetuate Rose’s legacy of love, execellence and service in your lives and the lives of all you may come in contact with. Please also lift us up in fervant prayer as we continue the healing process MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU IN HIS CARE The Bradshaw Family
