uinn R. Russell was born in St Paul, Minnesota and raised on the picturesque island of Grand Bahama in The Bahamas. The Islands are rich in traditional foods, customs, architectural heritage, and the joy of simplistic living. He constantly explored isolated caves, hidden beaches & mangroves, the underwater world of the Bahamas, and anything that required spontaneity. It was his island upbringing that sparked fascination with world travel, architecture, & culture. It gave him the hunger to get out and explore the world, collect it, and share it with others. An accomplished tennis player, he completed his high school education at the American Heritage College Preparatory School of Boca Raton, Florida and the International Tennis Academy of Delray Beach. His passion for world travel and cross-cultural relations continued to evolve through his advanced studies in Global Architecture at Florida Atlantic University. It was here that he began to create multi-level platforms to share his diverse perspectives on travel and design to local audiences. His passion, insight and expertise led him to take his initiative yet a step further, and he created Traveller’s Bazaar; and internet-based travel blog that showcases useful tips and reviews from Quinn’s travels. Since its launch in 2010, Traveller’s Bazaar has amassed a world-wide following numbering tens of thousands followers and visitors, each of whom eagerly look forward to Quinn’s next opulent adventure to the next hot destination around the globe. Quinn’s career in travel journalism has given him the opportunity to visit France, Monaco, Russia, England, Dubai, Israel, Germany, and extensively throughout the Caribbean, United States and Latin America. In 2013, Quinn has continued to expand his vision for his brand. He is currently a contributing editor for Bahamian Escapes Magazine, The Bahamas Weekly and Travel Noire. He is also working on developing the Traveller’s Bazaar Web Channel that will showcase webisodes on destination reviews and travel and leisure. He caps off the year with a 3 week tour of South East Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Thailand. Quinn’s overall goal is simple; he hopes to use his platform to inspire people to live their best lives today!
