Features - Former Johnny Rockets diner. - Celebration of the companies newest product the “Roller Liner� - No food menu, but free ice cream. - Make up vending machines. - Countertop mirrors with magnets so guests can attach their phones and easily snap a selfie.
Te c h n i q u e s - Bright pink exterior and interior. - Greeted by a retro dressed waitress that will bring the products to you. - Mirrors in front of every seat that allows customer to try out the products. - Full of insta worthy spaces such as a selfie mirror and a playfull sink full of overflowing bubbles. - Outside of the diner there are pink motorcycles that are hard to resist taking a photo on.
Why are they effective? - Benefits consumer is young ages 14-32 and wants any opportunity to take a fun photo for their Instagram followers. - The Roller Diner perfectly represents the aesthetic of the brand and the customer. - This creates a fun and informative environment for the customer to stop, shop, play and enjoy a pink milkshake. All this while capturing perfect moments for social media.
Themes & Key Messages - Promotin their classic eyebrow products such as the “Gimme Brow”, “Voluminizing Eyebrow Gel”, “My Eyebrow Pencil” and the “Roller Liner Liquid Eyeliner” - 50’s inspired pink dream. - Insta worthy aesthetic. - Interactive experiences.
Best Practices -Used certain props and created interactive spots throughout the diner that followed the theme while also relating it back to the specific products they were promoting. -Vintage product vending machines that the customer could interact with. -Pink chairs and booths that invited the customer to sit and try the product. -This pop-up is a great example of how visual communication can play a huge role in reaching a target customer through special events. Benefit attracted customers not only for the experience but also to purchase items.
