YOUR RECRUITMENT TOOL
Your Potential New Member list is now built into The SAE Portal – meaning no more spreadsheets or lost contacts! And we know recruitment is a chapter-wide activity, so anyone in the chapter can add a potential new member to the list. To add a new Potential New Member:
1. Log into The SAE Portal
2. Select your Chapter in the upper right corner.
3. Select the RECRUITMENT Tool.
4. Select ‘Add Potential New Members’ in the upper right corner to add new members in mass OR Select the ‘Potential New Member’ icon in the first box on the left in the top right corner to add PNMs one by one.
5. To add a Tag click the Ellipsis [...] by the Potential New Members name and click ‘Update Tags.’
6. Once the Potential New Member makes it through the Committee Review, an Officer will move him to ‘Requirements Met’ and click the purple ‘Report’ button.
NOTE: Required information to add a PNM includes first name and last name; optional fields include Snapchat or Instagram handles, messages, and a lead owner. To report a PNM as a brother, you must also include his email and phone number. Any member registered in The SAE Portal may add Potential New Members. ONLY officers can move the Potential New Members through the sequence of boxes.
Once he’s been added to your Potential New Member list, you can move him through the sequence by dragging and dropping his card into the correct category or by clicking the settings button on the right side of his card and selecting the correct status. After he’s accepted his invitation to join your chapter, reporting him as a Candidate for Membership has never been easier – just click the purple “Report” button at the top of the Bid Extended category, and he’ll be added to your chapter roster as a brother.
