The
Schools’ Post The recruiTmenT newSleTTer for Primary SchoolS in PlymouTh
The Schools’ Post is an initiative from Plymouth association of Primary headteachers (PaPh). it is an innovative and cost effective way of advertising your vacancies and helping to keep precious resources in the school system. There is no cheaper way of advertising your vacant school post. This is a project initiated by schools for schools in response to the spiralling cost of advertising. it has been developed in partnership with Sigma marketing & advertising ltd, an independent full service agency based in Plymouth which has delivered bespoke marketing services to both public and private sector clients of all sizes since 1992. many schools will be familiar with Sigma, as it has efficiently handled schools’ recruitment advertising both on line and off line for 19 years and has a wealth of expertise in this area. each week we will be posting electronically all of the jobs advertised with us to schools throughout the region in the form of an ebulletin. These will also be posted on www.theschoolspost.co.uk. Staff who are seeking a post can also register on our site and as new jobs appear these will be emailed to them - easy! we need your co-operation to help make it a success. in the next few days we will be sending you the first edition of The Schools’ Post for the attention of all your staff. if it could be circulated and placed in your staffroom it would be great. This is a co-operative venture and we are working with the family of headteacher associations in the Sw to see how any income generated can best benefit local objectives. not only will it offer a considerably cheaper alternative to local advertising it could also help your local association or cluster of schools. if you are interested in advertising or wish to know more contact PaPh at paph@montpelier.plymouth.sch.uk or contact Pete nash on 07846787500.
