BABYLON ACTS OF KINDNESS We continued our Signature Acts of Kindness campaign in Babylon! Our office partnered with Nourish Babylon and volunteered to serve a sit down meal to those in need. We were so impressed at what they accomplish every week!

Here are some of our loved ones’ most recent accomplishments. Sandi Stelmach got engaged to Paul Kieliszek on February 14th! They will be getting married in NJ in October of 2021.
Sara and Louis Abikzer celebrated 23 years of marriage on March 16th. Denise is so proud of her son, Dr. Ryan Martin Gianatasio, who just started his new Directorship at a hospital in South Carolina, starting up and heading a new Department for Neurological Stroke Intervention!!
Angela and Dennis Blachut welcomed their first grandchild, Lila Grace Orlando, on March 10th. Proud parents are Alison and Bruno Orlando. Elena and Chris Galluzzo recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. They have four children and are the incredible force behind The Galluzzo Team!

Our in-house attorney, Kelly Dantuono, was appointed as the Associate Judge of the Village of Stewart Manor! JoAnn Aronson’s daughter, Alexis, was accepted in Biology Honor Society will be graduating college with biology chords for maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher in all her bio classes.
Melanie Karakatsanis’s son, Nicholas, was promoted to head teller at TD bank. Catherine Marchesano’s daughter, Emily, just graduated an Accelerated Nursing Program at Simmons University in Boston and passed her boards for her RN license.
Sandy Horan’s son, Bryan, a science teacher at Northport High School, was recently selected as a Harvard Club of Long Island ‘Distinguished Teacher,’ an award designed to acknowledge remarkable teachers throughout the island.
Kathy Ciavarella welcomed her first granddaughter, Sadie Joy Feit, on Feb 2nd! Andrea D’Eloia’s daughter, Cassandra, recently made the Dean’s List for Fall of 2019 at Sacred Heart University. She recently won a business attire scholarship courtesy of Mitchell’s of Westport, CT.
Kathleen Murphy’s youngest daughter, Genevieve, was surprised on a business trip to Italy by her boyfriend’s propsal. She said yes! Her first daughter, Madeleine also got engaged on a trip to Costa Rico. To top it all off, Kathleen also got engaged to her boyfriend, Irwin. Congrats to all 3!
Chris Montalbano’s son, Chris, was accepted to St. Anthony’s High School.
Our own NYPD Officer Maria Raheel’s annual toy drive was featured in a newsletter for accommodating the entire school. Her and her team of volunteers dressed up and presented gifts to about 70 excited kids at a holiday party.

Donna Pitrelli’s stepson, James Duncan, proposed to Fran Furelli and they are getting married August 2020 at the Harbor Club in Huntington!
JoAnn Aronson’s daughter, Samantha, placed 6th and medaled at the Winter NCAA Championships for the 60m Hurdles, breaking her colleges’ record. She was also picked for athlete of the week by her college.
Kathy Bay’s daughter, Casey, married Yianni Piyis on January 18th!
Deirdre Severine’s son, Jake, turned 13 on March 26th! Happy Birthday, Jake! Kathy Martin was nominated for Honoree 20th Annual Visiting Nurses run.
Nicole and Mike Schonig welcomed their first baby, Emilia Marcella, into the world on January 22nd, at 7lbs, 4oz, and 19.5”.
Linda Rosen’s granddaughter, Alyssa Moffitt, was accepted into medical school. Denise Reinke’s daughter, Michelle, had a baby girl 6 lbs 10 oz 20 inches long, born Feb 28th at 9:19 pm. Welcome Giselle Melanie and so happy for Michelle and Rob Soria!
Rachel Malin’s son will be attending University of Indiana Kelly School of Business in the fall. Dave Campbell welcomed a new grandchild. Johanna Mairéad Campbell entered the world at 10:20PM on March 22nd. She came in at 7 lbs. 10 oz, 21 inches long.

Jennifer & Peter DeShields purchased a new home in the Melville Triangle. They’re really appreciating their new home and tree-lined street, but they are especially thankful for the 4 levels, which affords just enough room for the whole extended family to have enough room to work and play. They are realizing that, “Yes, this is a home they can see themselves being quarantined in”.
Marian McKenna’s son, Commander Matthew McKenna, is now commanding a guided missle destroyer in the US Navy: The US Delbert Black.
