EARTH DAY
We spent the morning of Earth Day volunteering at the Elija Farm. We toured their incredible farm, met some of their chickens, and even helped plant some vegetables!
The Elija Farm is a ten-acre non-profit farm dedicated to enriching the health and wellness of the Long Island community. All the revenue from their community-supported agriculture and other farm activities helps to support innovative farm-based learning experiences for differently-abled persons. Susan Rupp had 2 graduates this year! On May 14th, daughter Jessica graduated from LIU Post with her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. She looks forward to helping children use their voices to speak and communicate effectively. On May 17th, son Lucas graduated from Stony Brook University with his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Satish Chandra’s son, Viresh, completed 2 years at both UMD College Park, with excellent grades towards a Criminal Justice Major, and the ROTC program. He just arrived at Maxwell AFB for the first field training.
