SURFER’S WAY
We hit the beach for the annual Surfer’s Way Outing in Long Beach. It was a picture-perfect day with an abundance of smiles!
Surfer’s Way is a non-profit designed to offer children with special needs the opportunity to experience the exhilaration and liberation of surfing. We’re honored to sponsor this amazing event and can’t wait for next year! NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY
Summer would not be summer without ice cream! We celebrated National Ice Cream day with ice cream parties at all of our offices. It was the perfect treat on a beautiful day.
BUILD-A-BACKPACK
Every summer our agents collect backpacks and school supplies for our annual Build-a-Backpack program. Our goal is to help kids get ready to go back to school with everything they need to succeed! This year we donated over 340 backpacks and supplies to Fiercely Leading Youth, Inc.! Renee Cuitkovic’s son, Jake, graduated AIT 9/16 in the Army division at Fort Eustis and is now a crew chief. Jake is an aviation mechanic for Black Hawk helicopters. His next chapter is going back to training to learn how to fly Black Hawks.
Lauren Viard married Dan Cross on September 21st during an intimate ceremony on the beach.
Tony Donnino’s daughter, Tara, got engaged to Gavin Gronert. A November wedding is planned and they’ll be moving to Basel, Switzerland. They met last year while climbing Mt. Kiliminjaro in Africa.
O’Connor married John Little on September 21st in Florida.
Katherine Marasia, is engaged to her amazing fiancé, John, after he popped the question in St. Louis.
Thomas De Santis, recently got a huge promotion at his other career as a Cosmetics & Skincare Lab Manager!
Christopher Cheeseman-Finnerty, recently reunited with his biological mother, siblings and extended family in Colombia, South America, after being adopted 45 years ago.
Ally (Cervantes) and Kenny Vasquez of Contour welcomed baby girl Stevie on July 12th, measuring 19 inches and 7lbs 9oz.
Kathy Ciavarelli’s daughter, Brittany Porcelli, gave birth to Tessa Sloane Porcelli on August 8th. She was welcomed into this world by her Daddy, Anthony, and entire family.

Kay Smoot is going to be a Grandma for the first time. Daughter, Nikki, and son-in-law, Rob, are expecting a baby boy in March!

Jill McDowell started a radio show celebrating women, called “Secrets of Powerful Women.” Every Monday on 103.9FM, from 5-6pm, she’ll interview incredible women to share their stories and inspire and empower others.
Marni Richardson’s daughter, Emily, raised $275 to donate to Surfer’s Way for a second year. She decorated beautiful shells to sell this year and is grateful for the support she received.

Thomas McGiveron & Colleen Davis competed in the world bagpipe championships in Glasgow, Scotland with their band, Roisin Dubh Irish Pipe Band, on August 17th. The band placed 15th out of 49 bands throughout the world. This is the largest piping and drumming competition with 190+ bands from competing.
Carol Flaherty-Lynch’s husband Bob, & his golf partner were playing at Pine Hills Golf Course on Aug. 21st when they both got back to back hole in ones on the same 17th hole. Chances of that are 1.26 million to one! A Special Birthday Gift for Bob!
Satish Chandra’s son, Viresh, spent July in Alabama for field training, and has since returned to Maryland and takes on the additional task of training the new Cadets!
Lesley Longmcleod’s daughter, Cassandra, became engaged to Dan in August - a Fall 2025 wedding is in the works. They have been together since 2019 and share a 4-legged baby, Miles! Her son, Ian, and his fiancee, Jordan, adopted Lennox in San Diego, where they are both stationed with the Navy!
Dennis & Angela Blachut welcomed their 3rd beautiful grandchild, William James Orlando, born on July 14th!
Jeannine Kowaleski is expecting her second grandbaby in April!
Richard Lenard celebrated 40 years in the Real Estate business.
Geanina Togholian’s son, Anthony George, age 9, won Defensive Player of the Year at the Junior Knicks Camp and was presented the award by Knicks Hall of Famer Larry Johnson. He also got to meet his basketball idol Carmelo Anthony.
Francine Hartley’s daughter, Jessica, had a baby on July 16th, Colton Robert Graci at 9lbs 1 oz.

In addition to helping clients, Kim also is a proud dog mom to a not-so-little golden retriever named Luca, so she understands the importance of getting your clients’ dog the backyard they deserve!
On Sept 22nd, Contour was honored to support Long Island Cares on their 5k Paws Walk to raise money and awareness for LI Cares Pet Food Pantry! Contour’s own Lauren Pastore and Malia Freeburg participated, and Lauren fell in love with a puppy so much that she wound up making her part of her own family! Meet Luna!
