Weekly Walk For A Cause

This spring, our Signature Cares division launched our “Weekly Walks For a Cause” initiative. Each of our offices all got together to support causes that were near and dear to their hearts.

Thank you to all that donated, participated and to the charities that helped us make an impact! We hosted 10 walks at some of Long Island’s most beautiful beaches and parks, made great new friends along the way and donated over $40,000 to these causes.

2018 Taste Of Long Island Our very own Kathy Viard was the Honoree at this year’s Taste of Long Island. Our agents were proud to support and congratulate her on her recognition for Outstanding Community Service!

Select-A-Home We are proud to announce that we have acquired Select-A-Home in Merrick. We are welcoming their team of 40 agents to our Signature Family.

Northridge Development Town officials along with the Renaissance Downtowns and New York New Home Builder Blue & Gold Homes came together for a ribboncutting ceremony to welcome the Northridge Development as a part of Huntington Station’s Revitalization.

National Take Your Child To Work Day On National Take Your Child To Work Day, we started the day with a Cookies and Milk Conference and had a blast teaching the kids about real estate and other core parts of Signature. A huge thanks to all that participated and to our future CEOs!

VSN Run Team Signature was in full force at the Visiting Nurse Service Run. Proceeds support their annual bereavement retreat for children.

Melanie Karakatsanis’ daughter, Shannon, graduated from high school and is heading to Mount St. Mary’s in the fall for nursing.

Deborah Berkman and her husband celebrated 32 years of marriage in Sandals-St Lucia on May 4.

Melissa Micucci got engaged to Danny Menendez and is expecting a baby girl in November!

Donna Spinoso’s son, Jeremy, graduated from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

JoAnn Aronson’s son, Zachary, was picked for author of the month out of all the 4th graders. Her daughter, Samantha, took first place in the skyline conference in the 400m hurdles and Alexis Papadopoulos landed awesome jobs with the state to work with autistic children and a high-end catering company. Also, her husband, Jonathan, gutted and renovated his Commack restaurant Memas Pizzeria.

Roberta & Tim Hunt’s son, Donovan, graduated from Baruch College.

He was a 4 year Catcher on the Baruch Baseball team and Senior Year Captain. He is now full time at Tesla’s Flagship Manhattan Store.

Garnet Ardila’s daughter is getting married on June 30th.

Joanna Jacob’s daughter, Anna, graduated from Baruch College and her husband, John, recently found out he beat cancer.

Laurie Linkletter’s son won the 2018 Realtor Scouting Scholarship from LIBOR. Sandy Bianco’s daughter, Andrea, graduated Cold Spring Harbor High School and will be attending Syracuse University in the fall.

Debi Power’s daughter, Julia Power Graduated from Suffolk University Boston. She was hired

by Action for Boston community development as a Case Manager.

Roseanne Gearhart’s son, Donald, was accepted to study at the Achill Archaeological Field School in Ireland for a semester. He and his fellow students discovered a village from the 18th Century.
